My brother (who has a steam account and just made an account here[doesn't let you start posting right away]) gained ME but then lost it after I logged in and played for some time.

This isn't a mistake, it's happened 3 times.

I suspect that this is some kind of countermeasure built into the game to prevent people from using alternate accounts but... it's just me using the same computer my brother is.

Can someone confirm/tell me how to fix this/tell me what else this could be.

By the way he changed his steam password in the case someone was logging in and using his energy, but it happened again so that's very likely not the case.

Its supposed to work like that. Free accounts played on the same computer share the same supply of mist energy. If you purchase any amount of CE from the energy store, that account gets its own mist supply.

All you need to do is buy a $3 chunk of CE from the store for one of the accounts to make it exempt from sharing. Then the other account can continue using the shared pool, which is basically just him now.

If you do it on the Steam enabled account, you need to fill your steam wallet first (min $5) before you can do any micro-transactions in the game.

Wish I'd known that... So how

Wish I'd known that...

So how do I make it stop? Have my brother log in on my laptop then I use his computer, then we switch? This is really annoying and pointless, I'm not gonna pay money because some built-in protection is messing up my gaming.
