I seen quite a few newbies have curse or sleep resistances and saying how many monsters deal curse or sleep.

so i made a few monsters for the fiend line.

these monsters, that'll be mainly doing pierce/shadow damage, would be called the pricks species. there are 3 types:

-pawns: these will be the normal kind you'll meet if you ever see these kinds of fiends, they are silver, with a triangle shaped orange insingia on there heads, on the top of there heads and there hands, there is a big, sharp swordlike cones, they clearly do piercing damage.

-berserker: there simular to pawns, but there bigger, mean, and grey. instead of a triangle insignia, its a circle. they can induce sleep with if there, big swordlike cones.

-sorcerer- its the like the pawn, but can float (still can get hit by swords, just a prop), and instead of jabbing with sword cones, they shoot blast of dangerous mist which it not only hurts, it CURSES, it has a square ingsignia and there black.

any thoughts.?

-1 on all

the reason why you dont get cursed very often is because its a game stopper and a thrill cutter you cant do anything and there is 1 thing in the game that curses and sleep was removed cause its SLEEP and its impossible to escape people lose way to much energy on revives cause they were put to sleep

I doubt we'll ever see more

I doubt we'll ever see more than the 6 types of enemies in the game. The way you describe their attack pattern really would make it unfair, to boot.

Slooms are the only enemies that could put you to sleep and are still present in the game: they have to land a clean hit on you toput you to sleep (stronger but absent relative, Sloombargo, is naturally shrouded in sleep-inducing mist). The strategy is really not that difficult, keep your distance. They are notorious, but not a gamebreaking menace as Iron claims.

Phantoms are indeed the only Curse-inducing (starting in T2) enemies in the game. We should be glad it stays that way.

Curse resist is only if you

Curse resist is only if you have a Faust or a sword that can give you curse.pretty sure only faust may do that.
