Keep in mind that it costs 4000 CE to unbind a 5 * item, and 50+200+400+800 energy to craft it. So from the start you're going to need (assuming 5,000 crown / 100 CE) 5450 CE or 545 * 5,000 crowns to break even, not counting 8,900 crowns to craft, and 40,000 crowns (or more!) in recipes. This works out to 321,400 crowns invested in a single Vog Cub Cap (and this is discounting materials, which is sort of a dead market, currently). Add in 15,000 for a single UV and you have 336,400 crowns. If you want to not lose money from the AH cut, you need a starting bid of at least 370,040 crowns to break even.

So all in all, 500,000 vog cub cap is only a 35% markup, which, considering 5* recipes routinely sell for 28% markup (approx. 32k) isn't *that* ridiculous of a price.

Future vog caps can even get away with a little lower, since the recipe costs don't need to be accounted for.

So all in all, I think 500,000 is a more "fair" price if it had a double UV, or at least a MED UV. For a low freeze UV? Yeah, that's a little out there.
