I'd like to state that, though it is my opinion I suppose, the Graviton Vortex of the blast line is not useless, far from it.
Though I would agree the Nitronome is better overall, the Graviton can be far more devastating when used in a particular manner, namely in conjunction with certain swords.

the 2 real options are nitronome, or if you want a different play style(though it's not usually considered a blast bomb, cuz it's so different) get the graviton vortex. i suggest you look in the wiki more. http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Bombing_Guide
