Every match of Blast Network, I see:
-People walking through bombs
-Me getting stuck "behind" a bomb someone else has laid "in front" of me, even though I see myself on the far side of it (IE bomb's on my right, I'm trying to walk left and can't because the server thinks the bomb is in the way)
-Me getting hit by explosions I'm not standing in
-People walking through explosions
And all of this is with a 4-bar connection. Speedtest.net rates me at 18Mb down, 5Mb up, Pingtest.net rates me at MOS=4.39, so what gives? The clockworks don't suffer so badly from synchronization issues, so why does the new PVP? The most frustrating issue is being stuck "behind" a bomb when it looks like it's behind me - the game should at least resynchronize and show me where the server thinks I am, rather than let me try to walk in all directions before figuring out where I really am. I've even been stuck on the corner of a solid block before, wedged -into- it by bombs planted one square south and east of me - couldn't walk north or west to escape, both of which were clear.
Great idea, sloppy execution.
Yup. It's cool. Page 2
