Consecration

Hello all,

Unsure where to ask this:
I posted via /trade buying an Antigua. Another knight, name withdrawn, told me he had one for sale. I told him where I was, and he said he needed the CE to unbind.

So I told him I'd give him the CE to unbind, he'd unbind, then I'd give him the extra for the actual Antigua.

He disconnected after I gave him 600 CE, and has not been responding to my messages for a rendevezous. What should I do?

Thankies

Unfortunately there is

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do now. never give your CE away without getting something in return. There are alot of people trying to scam right now. You are victim of a scam and should learn from this. It has happened to me as well when I first started playing. I reported the player but never heard anything back.

Sorry.

if they wanted to sell it

if they wanted to sell it theyd unbind it first. i was a hesitant seller but ultimately decided it was worth it to eat the 600CE to make a potential profit. any real seller will do the same.

always insist on the seller taking action first, or no deal.

sux dude :/

Report him to the GMs immediately. I forget if it was /report Playername or /complain Playername...

report!

GMs don't like scammers. Chat messages are logged :D

If you had an agreement with a player and they intentionally did not keep their end of the deal they will have to answer to the big Three Rings. Be sure to include anything that was said in regards to the transaction and any email you have sent to the player for follow up. This all serves as proof for winning your case. G'luck.

Scamming reports should be

Scamming reports should be sent in-game or via the support form, not via the forums. Thanks!

Does that mean the person who

Does that mean the person who scammed me was punished? I heard nothing back after reporting a scammer that got everything needed to make a striker. I know it was my bad and expect nothing returned but would be nice to know that they got the ban hammer.

OOO never reveals what action

OOO never reveals what action they've taken against scammers and other rule breakers (well, unless said scammers out themselves and make a ruckus on the forums). So yeah, you'll just have to complain then move on, hoping something's done.

Who is this user that scam you

What is his user name, if you remember? this would help others know who to avoid next time.
