Are you serious that this is really PVP mode?
I love bomberman, but if I want to play bomberman, I play online versions of bomberman or MP versions with my brother.
I laughed, but if it is gonna be really PvP mode, where you can earn in-game rewards... I don't think it is good idea.
Sorry, I wanted to post it...

It's ok,, but it is just an event for now, and was easier to develop, they will come up with something better. Don't worry. Unless they get bought by Microsoft :/

So you didn't see "Lockdown,

So you didn't see "Lockdown, Coming Soon". People have been comparing it to bomberman since the "sneak peek" pictures. Based on what's been said, there's going to be a bunck of different PvP styles (Including a very likely one with a regular SK sword, gun, bomb fighting style). It's way to early to judge it, you can start complaining when every version of PvP is like bomberman (highly unlikely), not when the first one is released. It's at a good entry price, it's got good features, and it's got good prizes. It's something we didn't have before, and it's pretty good. Why only look for the negative when there's (IMO) so much else positive?

This is just the first of multiple PvP modes. That's what they said in their official announcement, as well as a response on their Twitter.

From the official announcement page: "Krogmo has promised that he will be unveiling new events regularly throughout the season."

I hear from the Preview players that the old Super Brawl mode wasn't really quite as fun as PvP should have been. Presumably that's why they released a Bomberman minigame first.

As others mentioned above,

As others mentioned above, and as was announced previously, this will not be the only PvP format. More are on the way.

You are definately one of my new heroes for your post to WHAT THE HELL!!! Colosseum - Bomberman :)

This of course being of significant reason for its constructive and illuminating references brought to what very well could have been Yet Another Useless Forum Tread [YAUFT].

After reading a recent thread, This is embarrassing for both the delevopers and the players, which made my brain hurt & I didn't get any gems/Tokens(awaiting KK-token updates now), such as yours, found within the post. Sure wish you would have posted early on in that thread in order to avoid the onslaught of ego bashing & Off-Topic-ness. From their example forum behavior its obvious that the PvP is already deployed within the forums.

I'd nominate you for being a forum moderator if I could on top of declaring you a Forum Hero ;)

Now, I'm gonna get back to SK to check out this latest greatest update with bug-fix in order to see some first hand impressions of what initially comes across as an online multi-player 'Bomberman.'

Ehh, I don't like posting to lag threads because most people who complain about lag... don't understand enough about lag to accept any kind of explanation. Not all battles are winnable.

That'd make me a cruddy mod, actually. The mods have to watch over even the threads they hate and/or don't want to get involved in.
