What's the first three-star or higher item that you'll gun for when the servers come back up?
Me, probably a Swiftstrike Buckler. I refuse to give up on the autogun just yet!

Magma or hail driver, depends if freeze actually works right on mobs.
Swiftstrike Buckler is only Tier 2. It takes four stars to be Tier 3.
It would almost certainly be a weapon; the benefits of armors aren't as exciting.
More specifically, I'll be going for the Cold Iron Carver. It's a reliable 4* sword with a good charged attack, and, better yet, it's part of the calibur series, so the precursor recipes are *always* available from the haven vendor. That means that I can make a reliable sword on day 1, and lose no upgrade potential or heat.
After that I can start working on a 4* shield, namely the wise owlite shield. That will improve my survivability more than most armors, and in a pinch, the 2* precursor is sold at all times in moorcroft. (This is really about the only shield choice we've got, since elemental attacks are so common)
The third (and trickier) step will of course be to make a bomb that inflicts poison, because again, that does far more to improve my odds of survival than most armors. It's a long crafting chain, but worth it. (especially since my friends will probably make fire and freeze bombs first; I can plan around that to find my own niche)
I haven't decided on anything else yet, though- I rather suspect that Hermes will be rebalancing armors feverishly this week, so there's no telling what we'll end up with there. :)

I mean I really like the Khovorod but no abilities is kinda sad, but the damage bar is like...what? I figure I'll probably need the Divine Avenger for later anyways might as well try to make that...I dunno. Depends. I'm so indecisive QQ
What is this Shatter I have not heard of it, nor can I find it on the wiki.
Shatter Sword is only known by the title of a skin in the SK resource folder.

Hmm. That has me thinking about using a slow weapon as a pushing weapon as I kite with my Autogun....
OH YEAH! I do that too. Sword>>Sword>>Gun is nice too. Only really works for a single target though. The push back on the second swing is enormous. Lets you get in lots of shots. I lurve my big sword *gets teary-eyed*
