How can they sell it lower than the npc price?
Why can people sell unbound weapon slot upgrades for 220ce?
It's not too bad if you can't play every day like me, I've been looking for a way to use my mist on days I don't have time to go into the dungeons and get at least some value from it. I was crafting Caliburs but I was barely getting back what it cost.
Where do you buy these weapon slot upgrades and is there a big demand for them?

@Malvos: For profit, Caliburs are about the worst thing you can craft, they are one of the most common 2* weapon available in the AH and thus quite cheap. Try Brandish, Autogun, Alchemers, Blasters.
Weapon slot upgrades can be bought from a guy in the bazaar.

Compared to a big fat 0 that you'd get if you couldn't play or craft with the mist energy. It soon adds up and if you do it 10 times you'd save enough to craft a 5* item at 0 energy cost the next time you couldn't play (10x70= 700 + 100 mist)
You can sell MK2 alchemers at, say, 16000 or less. 16,000 - 10% of that = 14,800.

Now keep in mind it takes 4000 cr and 200 energy to craft. Combined with the "MK1" alchemer, the total cost may be about 5000 cr + 250 energy... (both excluding materials)
Assuming a rate of 5,300cr/100CE and that 100 of that energy cost will be mist energy, the total cost is about... 13,250 excluding materials.
You can also wait for 50 more mist energy to regenerate after making the "MK1" alchemer, and the cost will be 10,250.

What if you make 2 "MK1" alchemers per day instead?
Total cost is 2000 cr + 100 energy excluding materials. "MK1" Alchemers sell for more than 2,300 a pop (depending on type of gun), so I'll use that. (I sometimes sell them for 2,500 though.) 2,300*2 - 10%cut = 4140, so the profit is about 2,140 cr for 2 "MK1" alchemers.

1. selling Weapon Upgrade at 70 CE profit per day... (3,710cr)
2. MK2 using 150 ME (4,550cr per 1.5 days or about 3,033cr a day)
3. 2 MK1's (2,140cr+ a day)
4. MK2 using 100 ME (1,550cr a day)
...all crafting costs excluding cost of materials. All these prices also assume you have the worst luck getting UV's.
If you can get a good UV like CTR or ASI on a gun, you can win big time.
Note that selling weapon upgrade is also more involved as you need to find a buyer. If you don't have much time to spam trade chat, crafting is still the best way to go.

Thanks. Right now I'm going the 2 MK1 route, got a minor UV on one so put it up for 4000. I think I might in the future upgrade the MK1's I get with no UV into a MK2 since I get a second roll at UVs.
If you buy it with full mist, it only costs you 150ce. Frankly it's still not a very good conversion, 100 mist to 70ce. But it's quick and easy.
