Now that I have plenty of time on my hands ...
First off, I didn't know about this game until about a week ago.
While checking out MMOHUT's "weekly review" on youtube, I noticed one demo that stood out a bit from the rest of the reviews. At first it kind of reminded me of the Zelda games ... but with guns??? So I sign up for the beta, and promptly give up hope on ever getting to play it any time soon. 20ish other beta tests await my random selection at this time, you see. Disappointment is no stranger to the avid online gamer, as you all know.
But then I get an invite to this special preview thing, and I have to say: you guys certainly have one addictive game here, and I am so thankful for that invite. It is such a fresh idea, easy to get used to the controls, hard to master the skills, bash em up, totally fun non-grinding, never gonna get stale, mmo actually make it to official release. Major respect.
I've got a few ideas, not sure if they've been posted already. I hope not too often. Keep in mind that I got to play this for a total of 2 days before it went down.
1) DASH.
1.5) If you really must make us wait so long for the weapon charge, it should be instant upon button release. This has rarely worked to my advantage and just seems a tiny bit too slow or something.
2) The ability to leave/join teams in the terminals AND/OR some way to warp back to terminals from the arcade.
Look, I'm no t sure if you guys really want people to have to spend that much time to get through all the levels, but that in itself (without the training it takes to get strong enough to do that) seems like it would take hours and hours WITHOUT having to log out. This with the availability of willing team members to replace ones that need to log would seem damn near impossible to make it all the way down. I've got to be wrong or simply not understand something?
3) I haven't had the time to buy many 2+ star equipment, but I've seen people talk about balance on the forums. If they are right, I would like to agree with them at this time. Thank you.
4) Not sure how I feel about throwing those potions. If I were you, I would try to use power ups differently, like self buffs that would make your next 2-3 attacks effect monsters in whatever way (burns/freezes/curses etc). OR what would be really cool is this powerup system:
You pick up powerup, it takes up 1 of 5 slots (expandable like the life slots) and is only dropped when you swap for a new one, you die, or you leave to the arcade. Powerups buff certain elements (fire/shock/curse/etc) and add effects to the knight (fire sword, etc). The slots, however, would also be used to store pokeballs and any consumable items. So you would have to always leave 1 or 2 open for those.
5) I'd like to see a mode where you race other players. Give them all the same little 1 person maze to run, right next to each other, and see who can complete it fastest.
6) Capture the flag/King of the mountain. Dunno how you would do it, but it must be done.
Anyway, I gotta wrap it up. Hope you don't mind the criticism, but I wouldn't say it if I didnt love ya.
I absolutely LOVE this game, so plan on seeing a LOT of me.

What's DASH?
OOO what I really want is to be able to put a vial back in your belt after accidentally taking it out... I am tired of taking my ever so awesome curse vial out of my belt by accident and being forced to use it... I save my curse for emergencies!
Dash: a boost of speed. Maybe 2-3 spaces. Could be handy if you want to dodge an attack, or get off hazardous floors quickly.
And yes I agree about popping vials back into you belt.

Ooo Dash would be nice, maybe Dash could be a skill unlocked at Tier 3...
I want a Snipe bomb too... Snipe explodes and a bunch of feathers fly all over the place... dealing piercing and/or normal damage...
From the grand preview event release notes:
Then, on April 1st, at 2pm PDT our wonderful little world will open it's doors once more to any player who had created a preview event account as a special 'Early Access Weekend.' If you're reading this now on our official forums, that's you!
Early Access players will have the whole weekend to get a head start before our official launch on April 4th.
Yep. Already read that.
However, today is the 28th.
1) Rather than just running faster, why not a dodge ability, similar to the Tier 2 Wolvers?
Dodging in any direction but there's a bit of delay afterwards and the dash range isn't too terrible long or short?
1.5) You have to work charge attacks in I'm afraid. If it was instant it would be somewhat easy to spam Calibur charges once you lower the charge time. As sad as it is not spin attacking as fast as Link.
2) You can do both. You can join your friends mid level, and you can press escape and press "Return to Haven".
3) Crafting. It can be cheaper in the end depending on how much energy costs at the time.
4) Heh. Storing pokeballs. Vials are vital tools to help you out. They aren't meant for damage at all.
5) I'm also hoping for more competition modes aside from PvP.
6) That goes with number 5 doesn't it?
These should go in the suggestion forum though.
1)Yes. I also find it unfair that you have to spend 2 and a half seconds to charge your weapon and then the charge attack itself is slow. It's nice when you think about balancing pvp but I don't think that's one of this games main concerns.
2) Friends list. Don't discriminate. Add freaking EVERYONE. What's that? You want to get to floor 13 to buy some recipes? Oh lets just whip open the friends/guild list. Oh looky there is someone on floor 12 with a party of 3/4. I'll just join them!
That's the best way I've found to work around this.
5) racing is damn hard to do with an online game. Latency is a brutal mistress. It often looks like you are ahead of someone when in reality you are behind them. I don't think this games engine was built to support something like that.
6) That would be cool. People would be able to control space to easily with bombs though.
1) As long as you can control the direction of the dodge, I'm in.
1.5) I feel this is simply a difference of opinion.
2) Maybe I wasnt clear enough. When I reach a terminal, I would like to be able to leave this group, go afk for 20 minutes to catch a snack, then just join the next team down. Providing they have enough room. Instead of having to talk your team into waiting for you.
3) As I said, I havent been able to get into this as much as I would have liked. I dunno if things are actually out of balance, just expressing my strong belief in balanced mmos.
4) I never said anything about pokeballs being about damage. They just would take up upgrade slots.
5) and 6) I guess if it matters enough for you to correct my forum post structure, then yes, you are right. Now you can sleep tonight.
This was originally going to be a quick post begging for early(er) access. Then I remembered all my suggestions.
that last reply was to Kawaii_Desu.
Those are some damn good idea about the contacts.
Brutally true point about the racing. I still think it can be done by making the level a bit smaller than the average.
Thanks Censor.
All I want is for mist energy to regenerate faster.
Three Rings and Sega why do you make us hurt so.
I so want to dawn my armor and go slash and shoot living jelly cubes.
I forgot to shamelessly beg to be let back on the server early.
0 = ) PWEEEEEEASE?
