What is your Favorite Monster and Why!
well every monster in the game are super cool but yea skellies are some hard monsters to kill especially the one on the graves that pop out like 5 or 8 at a time! yea they are hard tooo
i remember when i was in level 13 or 14 or 15 we pass a grave site and PUFF we were surrounding by skellies and jello cubes and these butterfly's that gave them more life WOW what a battle we fight! it was awesome
Spookats.
Because, you know, spookats
anything that drops loot that isnt one of those common shards :)
but uh, i like those little guys that throw office supplies
Kats. I love their chomp noise.
NOM!
Darkfang Thwackers and the Tenderfoots Thwackers too! Hammers woo!
Crazzywave, your original post made my day (hour). I for one like the Trojans, because they are one of the few non-boss monsters that require a bit of strategy to take down; as in, you can't just slash/shoot at them until they fall over and poof. Groups of Gremlin Healers can get pretty fun too, though. I'm not sure, and as far as aesthetics go, I'm definitely not sure...
But one thing I do know for sure, is that I hate Devilites.
Mewkats! Definitely my favorite. Saphy killed two of them. *cries* They are perfectly harmless and very rare to find. I got cute screen shots of one of them. They will forever be on my laptop! ♥♥
Quicksilvers... I remember when I first saw one.
Ohhh, a silver lichen, how pretty.
*spark* *zap*
OMGWTFBBQ FAST
I have a hard time picking out favorites. They all seem so cute (and many deadly, of course)... except maybe for the skellies. Zombies give me the creeps, and thus so do skellies. o.o
But the devilites make "biff! bam!" noises when I hit them, so I will have to give them the nod.
When I first saw both of them I was so amazed for the Quick silvers i was like ---- oooo pretty Tantarian why do you hate these guys??? Zap Zap Dead....wow they are annoying lol...
Oilers - Tantarain what does the oil do??? Oh i see Tantarian.....
Lol I saw most of the new monsters with Tantarian he was my tour guide and saw me get owned figuring out there new attacks =)
I'd have to say my favorite being the Devilite series. I'd L0L-ed so much after being hit in the face by a floppy disk from one of the Devil-IT guys.
Nj - you and that blasted Ash of Agni in the Oiler Arena!
Fire everywhere!
well for me is the fancy slime with the moustach and the hair its so nice and funny that kill it so fast and like dat very much ^^
That was like my first time in a fire arena I didnt know what would happen....it was fun though you have to admit =0....In other news if you use ionized salt vs shock jellies do they get charged up and shock you??...
Aeca, are you talking about those office devils? The ones who have a pointy haired boss which constantly asks them to come in to work on saturdays and sundays but does absolutely no work himself? Then they attack you by throwing office chairs, staplers and macintosh computers at you?
I love those guys; they were seriously the most hilarious thing I had seen in the game. I almost feel bad for having to dispatch them.
All the kats and devilites. Cute and funny.
Devilites and Alpha Wolvers. Love the little trumpet noises the Devilites make when they die! XD
"We could use a guy like you in management..."
The Chromalisk family, because they're cute and make a funny death sound and animation when killed :)
Aeca, are you talking about those office devils? - TrapCardFool
Yes, those are the pests I hate. I just say that because my Divine Set and Divine Avenger make the "role-playing" with those little guys all the more fun. They are pretty comical though.
I love the rocket pups. Nothing makes me lol more than trying to dodge homing rockets and eventually taking 4 to the face.
Also, those flying fire red rovers were awesome.
Gremlins and Devilites.
Gremlins become really fun to fight in the deeper tiers.
Devilites are always fun to fight because they throw office supplies at you.
I like gremlins, because they made this game possible. (;
I hate all of them, I take great pleasure in killing them.
Except Mewkats and Impostocubes ;;
My favorite monster are the Layoafer because it look awesome and cute wearing earmuff I drew it in my sketchbook
The pink jelly cubes remind me of Turkish Delight, so I'll go with them. So yummie!
let's see: I simply like the impostocube and it's fancy mustache. Also, appart from being annoying, i simply love ash wolvers and devilites...But, for sure, the most hatted one for me are the goblins and rocket puppys, mainly the healer goblins together with rocket puppys.
Another vote for the Impostocube for me! He makes me laugh and laugh and laugh.
(Hey... if we had a Demonic Impostocube, would there be hell toupée?)
I like
Blastoise = Tortodrone
Mini Gengar = Devilite
Crobat = Greaver
Shiny Ditto = Sloom
Kadabra = Tenderfoot Mender
Kecleon = Chromalisk
Poochyena = Ash Tail
Mightyena = Alpha Ash Tail
Square Shaped Ditto = Jelly Cube
BADUMP!
Blastoise = Tortodrone >_< i will begin to call him blastoise from now on...so, we have pokemons and pokeballs here now? >_<
Gather round children, I have a tale to tell.
After some odd glitch made me somehow start soloing that Wild Path level in SK gate, I pretty much started storming through on the note that if I did die at least I can evac with my monster drops. So I head in and after 10 minutes realise the norther path was the proper one. Ignoring it, I went west and dropped an Alpha Wolver solo. My last solo encounter with these hounds led to me burning about 60 energy on self rezzes, so i was a bit over the head after finding my pretty crystal supply. Shrugging it off, I headed towards the elevator when I saw it.
A challenge door requiring 3 energy. I had hoarded enough crowns to get some crystal energy and figured why not, I can pretty much see what the fuss is about. And so I entered and found the arena. A square circle of sorts with four of the effective twelve corners lined with spike traps and a thorn hedge in the centre alongside the party switch. I shrugged and knowing the gate behind me would raise until all mobs were erased, stepped on it, hoping my trusty proto sword could carry me through whatever five or six monsters would spawn.
Ten Jelly Cubes and two Blast Jellies suddenly spawned around me as I stated numerous expletives mentally. Here I was surrounded by what is accompanied by ice cream normally, and with pretty much bog-standard weaponry. Still, they were only jellies, I thought, and started to smack a couple.
BAM. Instant bar of health gone from one attack and I realised what the challenge was and what I had done. With the hordes I could only flee, but there was no way out. Trapped, doomed to be digested by the wibbly wobbly warriors, I knew it was only a matter of time until I would just give up. However, as I looked at them once more, I realised they were melee-based monsters, vulnerable to ranging. But I couldn't take all of them on with a proto gun, could I?
Pulling my small firearm out, I knew it had limited uses, mostly for safe spotting alpha wolvers in the den with allies, and wondered if these resistant globules would yield to it. Only one way to find out.
I got some distance between me and the hordes and opened fire. Seven damage a shot, wonderful. Clearly not enough to kill them, and if a Silkwing popped up, I was a phantom on delay. I persevered, figuring that sustained firepower and evasion would save me. Twelve jellies there were, then after a couple of minutes, eleven. I stood a chance! Armed with what was a pea-shooter, I continued to run around the thorn bush, herding the horde and pelting them at every opportunity until there was only one left. Triumphant, I shot a round at it and smirked as it splatted...
...only for round two to commence. Once again surrounded, but now while there were only eight jellies and 2 blasts, a quartet of Oilers as well, bad news. Utilising the same strategy, the horde was once again shot down, and the horde afterwards fell the same way, only with half a dozen Oilers which coalesced into a much bigger one, though too small to be a baron. When the final foe fell, I considered perhaps the challenge was one of endurance, and that with three waves down I'd be finished at last.
A fourth wave. Ten Jellies, 2 Blast Cubes, 2 Oilers. Plus four Quicksilvers. Curses.
Taking heed to previous strategies, my proto gun, a weapon I considered utility at best, had quickly became a small but sustained method of wearing an army down provided enough running was done. In the end, the mass also fell, much shards and loot accumulating and enough embers to burn down a small forest amassed, I killed the last jelly cube and awaited round five...
...There was none. Against all odds, in a solo level, with only the weakest gun, I had done it. I had conquered the danger room and earned my prizes, a few Forge and Primal Sparks alongside a bounty of embers and crowns. Claiming them all, I left triumphant and headed back to Haven, the heat from my PRO-to gun indicating that further use would blow it up.
To this day I will never forget how much I enjoyed the jellies for their poor intelligence allowing my pulling off a feat that would be hard to repeat.
*applauds* Raverist, that was great!
Do you know why no one has yet mentioned a love puppy as their favorite monster?
It's because we have to kill them to move on, that's why. It's heartbreaking!
Chromalisk Whelps are simply adorable. Once I've tried to pet one. It has even licked my face :-D
My favorite is the Devil-its. Especially the Yesmans!
My favorite would be Retrodes. Why? Because i just love beam spam.
Skellies! Especially when they come in hordes, like in Danger Rooms.
I used to like jellies. And then I played one too many jelly levels. xD
