In the recent update, zombies now won't stand idle when it can't find a target, instead it wanders around until it finds one. This pretty much makes Vanaduke fight a must with Slag Guards now since those zombies can't be bumped and will get killed eventually before the final phase~ :P

It also means that people may return to using the slag guards as they were intended - a source of hearts for revival.

Unfortunately

Unfortunately new/inexperience players will have quite sometime to learn it and will most probably won't be accepted in a run unless experienced or is a friend. Today I went with a few, they have no clue on how to kill it~ >.>

Nah, they can still lose track of you. It's just harder. You may have to ignore vanaduke for a bit and try to shake the zombies (with whatever method you prefer). In phase 5 we darn near protected that zombie from Vanaduke...

Having to deal with the zombies is now such a pain. This last run I did we just ended up killing it since it wouldn't stay at the top in Phase 5. Then I froze one of the guards and Vanaduke together with Shivermist while the other knight killed the other one. As a result was still quite easy. Requires Shivermist though to keep the second one still.

Now that they aggro properly, they don't get trapped. So... yeah.
