Not only they ripped off bomberman. After a day they decided to rip off players as well. Thought its clever to make a bugfix which binds all rewards right after you won it. >:(

This "Bomberman Rip-Off" is something to just do when you are bored/out of CE/waiting for the next update... If you don't want to play it, fine with them. it's just a mini-game.
And really, all games these days are rip-offs of another one in some way. Why complain about this one?

i like to think of spiral knights improving zelda and bomberman. i mean come on do you get to use guns in zelda? no. do you get cool lookin knight armor ar fire encrusted wolf or salamander armor. no i accept all criticism because i ignore them feel free to criticize i might read them

I'm pretty sure Tenlki is being facetious, deriding the OP for his stupidity.
All games have parts, large and small, derived from games that came before them. There's nothing wrong with imitating an ancient game that people loved to play as an implementation of a mini-game. Name me a game you like and I'll just point to a game that came before it that you could consider aspects "ripped off" from.
Aside from the heinous lag, there's nothing wrong with PvP. If you don't like it, cool, don't play it. You don't deserve anything, you're not entitled to anything, and 3R doesn't owe you anything. It's a small part of a free game. And if you haven't noticed yet, free means you don't have to pay. So if you don't think the game is worth paying for, don't. No one is forcing you to, and no one ever brought up the argument of whether the game is worth real money. Complaining about it without offering anything but whines gets you and everyone else nowhere.

I just don't get it. Why do people make so much noise when they dislike something? Do they think I'm going to read their threads, whack my forehead and say "Of course! Of course everything Three Rings does is terrible and wrong and foul and bad! How did I ever think I was actually enjoying their product?"
Now, of course, for suggesting civility and level-headedness and focusing on constructive criticism instead of boorish moaning, I'm detracted as being a full-on card-carrying Three Rings sycophant. Whatever. I like these dudes. I like what they do.
And Bomberman is fun.

Personally never heard of bomberman before this. I like the new update. Better than people in a arena spam clicking the attack button. Sadly that is the pvp they want but I don't really believe they actually think it through.

i see where you are going and wish it were so. Spiral knights isn't an improvement over zelda, not yet. [it does have more replay value, since its a socially interactive event]. I, for one, would love it if they ripped off a little more from zelda. It would be cool if there were some crown sinks that weren't necessary but could open up extra areas on maps.
A megaton hammer for 250k crowns that could break walls and get you into hidden rooms. Perhaps there could be random hidden token rooms. and maybe it could break danger room gates without using CE. That kinda stuff.
It also rips off Zelda, Touhou and more! What's not to like?
On another note, if you have any complaints, fill a feedback or a QQ bucket. A thread is mostly going to attract a mixup of empathy and apathy.
