Now, I am NOT a gunslinger. I have only used he Antigua series once, up to the Silversix. Never once used the Blackhawk.
This is NOT a suggestion, and thus I am not placing this topic there. It is just a survey of opinion.

I hear many people say the Blackhawk is bad/too situational, and that the trade off for the damage to be split in a way more favourable for certain monsters isn't worth it. But what if, instead of piercing, it did elemental?
It would be good for Constructs and Slimes, decent for Undead and Gremlins, and not too great for Fiends and Undead (two monster groups you generally don't shoot anyway, due to their dodgy nature.)
Just a thought.

Yeah, that would be a very

Yeah, that would be a very useful change making Blackhawk quite a powerful for taking out Gun Puppies or kiting arenas. For that reason I doubt OOO would to it.

The Argent Peacemaker would

The Argent Peacemaker would need a similar overhaul, but with there only being four kinds of damage it kind of limits it.

Well, the AP already does

Well, the AP already does have an extra bonus on Undead, and is the gun of choice for Vanaduke runs for a lot of people. But then again, if the Blackhawk did get the useful upgrade I had in mind, I guess the AP would start to pale in the Blackhawk's shadow.

Wait, what? Undead aren't dodgy.

Well maybe Kats are dodgy,

Well maybe Kats are dodgy, not zombies... anyway I think he means not too great for Fiends and Beasts.

EDIT: Anyway, I still shoot those Fiends and Beasts, but I'm guessing a swordie or bomber with AP/BH as a sidearm will not want to shoot those...

Oops. Yeah, I meant Fiends

Oops. Yeah, I meant Fiends and Beasts. Not too good for Fiends and Beasts.

Point being, I still think the change would make the Blackhawk a bit less situational, albeit a bit too strong when compared to the Silversix.

Would be great but not correct

It would buff the Blackhawk / Sentenzia for sure, but it's just not correct from a pierce to an elementar / shadow weapon. I dunno, maybe it should come with a 3rd Antigua Path with that. So you got:
Ele / Shad
Ele / Pierce
Pierce / Shad

every combi ;)
