I was just wondering, on armor and helmets, when you have a UV that resists status condition, what exactly does that mean? Less chance of it inflicting you? Or less damage done to you by it?

Less chance of acquiring the condition in the first place, shorter duration if you do acquire it, and less damage from it if it's a condition that damages you. I think the first of those is true, I'm certain of the second, and I know that the third is true for fire.
