My sister was playing on my computer on her spiral knights account, and she used most of her energy, going to exactly 36 energy.
But, when i logged in to play, i had exactly 36 energy to, and the last i played was yesterday morning. Why does this happen if you play on the same computer, but have different accounts?
Same exact enegy amount for different accounts but on different computers

Free accounts share a mist energy pool when played on the same machine, and is in place to prevent abuse of the system. Accounts that have purchased CE from the store are made exempt from this rule, and get their own mist energy supply.
At minimum, one of accounts will need to buy CE in order to split the mist pool. The payed one has its own supply, and other gets the machine supply all to itself. Or you could simply play on different machines.
Well, don't use her computer for your account, and don't let her use your computer for her account.
Mist energy is shared between accounts on the one operating system. I would like to know what actually identifies the operating system.
Energy on different OSes are not shared.
So, if you only have one computer, install linux as well and force your sister to play on that.
If you are already using linux, install wine and have your sister play on that.
Another option is to not let your sister play.
When two accounts are played on the same computer they share mist. This can be undone by paying any amount on one of the accounts, making it a paid account.
