Take into account kill/death ratio, win rate...anything other than just how many times you've been in a match.

Hopefully they change the ranking system entirely. Make it so that the best players are on top rather than the players playing the most. I've played against MissyKitty and I'm pretty sure she actually bombs people and wins the matches. Schlep... He was a fine opponent. I think Stanley was either AFK or just average. Chris was AFK (pretty sure) and Divine-Cookie was genuinely good. Not sure about the others.

Tch. I've been in games with Missy and he/she (most likely a guy) has just been afk. One time I've seen them actually play. The ranking system needs to have a wipe every week or get fixed asap. ~_~

The thought behind points
The thought behind points earned by repeat matches is good - the AFKers, however, are not.
I'm hoping they can find a way to deal with the AFK players while still retaining some element of the "the more you play, the higher you go" aspect, as I do think it's a good foundation for the system. As it currently stands, you get far, far more points for winning - sometimes up to 2-3x more, so it's nice to have that aspect as well.

right now getting a high position in the leaderboard is just easy. Afk/Clickbot
But even with a leaderboard that only displays total kill/death ratio, afkers would still take the fun out of the pvp mode.
right now this gamemode isn't about pvp, but who can farm the afkers the fastest.
To me that's killing the point of the pvp mode all together... it's like paying 200 credits for a tier 0 pve depth with only 1 weapon, afk "monsters" and friendly fire on.
If alpha squad knew they'd disassemble the afkers and feed them to the core.

Missykitty went AFKing so much that no one will ever reclaim the #1 spot. And Divine-Cookie's not on the top 10 anymore... The rankings are looking worse and worse every hour. I'm pretty sure more than half of the top 10 now are AFKers.
Rextie and Aasadada (or whatever his name is) are the same too. Not sure about the rest.
I know Divine-Cookie and Spiltmilk aren't afkers.
