Im going to be crafting my Electron charge into Electron Bomb and then Electron Vortex i was just wanting to know is it a good idea?
Btw i have all the recipes and supplies just gotta lvl it up to lvl 5 then lvl 10...

To elaborate on OverDingle slightly. It's particularly effective with weapons that can deal a lot of damage in a small area. Generally this would relate to swords. For instance, Glacius is great as the freeze holds the enemies in place which prevents any possible flinging that may occur. The new shock Brandish may also be rather useful.
Leviathan, as OverDingle said, and DA are also considerations, though their knockback can be somewhat annoying sometimes.
It is above all, a combo bomb.
the most effective usage of a vortex bomb is to sacrifice some of your hp for a bomb that sucks in 5 or more medium-large sized targets. when the bomb explodes the sheer number of enemies prevents them from spreading out, and you can quite literally trap an entire event button in one vortex bomb and continuously spam them down by walking in a circle around the outside of the bomb radius, only stopping to plant another.
but yes.
glacius + vortex bombs = win. SO much win. if you are playing solo though, its better to just spam the bombs.
from my experiences vortex's best combinations for DPS are radiant sun shards or fang of vog charge
all other charge attacks are better off being spammed, especially now with the CTR trinkets available
for pure bombing, id replace the gravi with the electron, simply because i have no use for shadow dmg(ash of agni + nitronome can handle gremlins/slimes) and shock rarely causes harm to the players

The Electron Vortex has the same suction radius as the Graviton Vortex. You can refer to my video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKjKrWnpbKY, for an idea of the suction radius.
I use the Electron vortex and Shockburst Brandish http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Shockburst_Brandish and i also have a Avenger and a Winmillion my armor is Virulisk same with the hat... i also have a Autogun which i plan on upgrading to a Toxic needle *i have the recipe* and my Shield is the Dark thorn shield.
and my trinket is a Ultimate quick strike Module.
U shud get an acended caliber at least.
You really need to tell us what your other gear is. From what I've seen, I'm under the impression that the Electron Vortex needs to be partnered with decent other weapons to be useful - Leviathan for example.
While the bomb's probably worth using, you need to think about what else you have, because it's not one that supports itself.
