If you're attacking a specific monster type with a normal damage weapon, what benefits you more? "Sword Damage Bonus: Low" (As found on Dusker Coat) or "Damage Bonus vs (type): Low"? (As found on a variety of armors, for example Angelic Raiment for Fiends)
They theoretically yield the same damage, though the Dusker coat is good vs. everything, and Angelic only vs Fiend. So if you combine a Barbarous Thorn Shield and two Elite Slash modules for sword damage Maximum!, it makes vs type UVs on your swords pointless. Keep in mind also that the Angelic set buffs damage vs Fiend is for any weapon you use when hitting Fiends.
