Sometimes people just stand, other times they purposely kill teammates (this has happened to me a few times), and sometime they're AFK (this happens a lot, actually). I've even seen guys purposely kill themselves the entire game. And then when you get the same jerk in more than one "random" game, it becomes a reoccurring annoyance.
Give a votekick option to team members and/or party leader.
If you pick "random teams", the odds of getting 3 or so "AFK players" consecutively kicking teammates (which is kind of impossible, hence the meaning of AFK (Away From Keyboard), but I get what you're trying to say) and consecutively getting matched with each other are slim to none. It's always just 1 AFK player here and there. Even friends being paired up is hard in a "Random Team" match.
I don't see much room for abuse here. The only dilemma I could potentially see is refunds. But if they're kicked, I don't see why a refund couldn't be warranted. If they're kicked continuously, perhaps some temporary penalty from playing the Blast Arena minigame for a certain amount of time could be implemented.
Why not just ask for three rings to ban AFK players. As of now, I don't think we are alowed to report them for being AFK, but if we could, they'd be in a whole lotta tubbah.
They could perhaps, simply lower the inactivity timer in pvp. That would "solve" the problem with afk players. When it comes to team killing.. I dunno how you are going to detect that. Vote-kicking might also be abused so I'm not sure it's a good idea. Also, if a player gets kicked without knowing why, it's not fair for that person to lose his/hers 200 crown entrance fee.

Then the AFKers make a bot script that presses W A S or D every 1/2 second.
How about we just ask three rings if we can just report them? I got a big long list of AFK names, and I'm waiting for three rings to give me the o-k.
no offense, but this idea needs some thinking about. think about it. people pay 200 cr to join so if you kick that person, he just wasted his money. unless you get a refund, it is not very good idea. please dont take this as a troll, i dont mean to insult anyone. people always troll my threads so i know wat it feels ike.
Yeah, I really don't see why they couldn't get a refund if they get kicked. So throw that idea out of your guy's heads. It's not a valid point.
If you're on a RANDOM team and 3 out of 4 of your RANDOM teammates decide to kick you for being AFK, or for lagging out, or for purposely killing them, and as long as you get a REFUND of the measly 200 crowns it costs to join a game, I really don't see much room for abuse here fellas.

That's irrelevant. My team and I shouldn't lose just because some guy had to take a piss during the middle of a 5-minute match. If you're AFK, you get kicked. It's the rule of thumb for any online multiplayer game.

I'm not sure how a refund from the bribe would work (too exploitable). But crowns seem more likely.
But I mean, if you were active enough to bribe, but then decided to go AFK before the match started... You'd pretty much be bribing for no reason. Not to mention THOSE are the kind of people we want kicked in the first place. Put a disclaimer about bribes if they must, but just make people (and jerks that TK on purpose) kickable.

First of all, your analogies don't make any sense man. Stop using 'em. :P
Second, not once did I suggest we ban people from being AFK. Rather, someone who is consecutively getting kicked (assuming a kick option is implemented). A repeated offender, if you will. And even then, I only suggested a temporary ban from the Blast Network. Although this is just icing to the cake. I'd be fine with a votekick option alone.
Vote/Kick could just make it so a bunch of afk players join a party and end up kicking you for trying. It also, could make friends kick out people they dislike from the party for fun, and will be hard to manage while doing pvp.
So, my personal view I am sure the dev's will come up with a solution to this, but in the mean time we have to wait and see, but I am sure they will look over your suggestion and keep it in mind.
