It's good that teh game has PvP, I'm not complaning it is really awsome to finally maim my fellow knights without fear of getting booted.
So I ask:

In many games, PvP is an expression of the investment and style one's put into the core game. It's a way of expressing something you've put time into, and taking the way you kick butt in the regular game into an arena that'll make other people respect it. A lot of people are feeling unsatisfied by the new mini-game because they feel it's disconnected from the core experience - because it doesn't connect with what they've attained in their journey as a Spiral Knight. They want to be able to experiment with the various weapons they've collected in the game against opponents that can match wits with them equally.
Honestly, I quite enjoyed the rounds I played with my guild. I'm a very casual player, so it's cool to have something I can drop in and out of - though it would be more neat if Blast Station rounds showed up as floors while I was doing gate runs!
There are already tons of threads talking about this pvp mode, which is one reason this is a pointless thread. The other reason is because OP is trolling with the ancient and stale umad meme which, while the very act of saying/showing it is originally intended to rage someone else (hence trolling), it just makes me roll my eyes.
You want to talk about this stuff, take it to one of the other threads that already have pages upon pages of discussion. I say again:
/thread
I wish the mods would lock topics like these sometimes...it's like we traded CE price threads for these instead.
CE Price threads are probably gone because most of the new players have settled in. They're familiar with the way the game works, and are either satisfied with how energy works or are gone. There are lots of threads about PvP, basically, because people are going "whoah! This isn't the design direction I want for PvP!" -- I mean, there was a thread a while back asking for input on how PvP should be done, and I know I said "casual low-stakes mini-game PvP", and that's what we got. Even if all this turbulence against it seems messy, I think the fact that people are making a ruckus shows that there's an audience who wants the other thing.
And of course everyone's talking about the new content! What else is there to talk about?
I find it funny, I didn't mean to make this sound like I be trolling, only wanted to state my opinion on the subject. But If it indeed does irritate you, then go ahead and lock it. Im okay with it.
Brother, if you're gonna troll, commit to it.
truth is I never knew I had a knack for it, but now that you say it I will.
U now haz cookie.
Oh look at mee, you'll fllow my every word as long as I type / before it.
What is this death note?
/heartattack silentwaldo
There. This is also how I know when someone is AFK. I just type /die, and I know.

The slash isn't a slash in the context of command prompts, like you use it. It's being used in the context of ending a state. /thread means "end of thread." And it was a criticism, not a command. You have your own thread criticizing pvp, it doesn't need OP, you, or me (I wish there was a 'sage' function) posting in it and having yet another 3982596th pvp topic on the front page. Your thread has far more discussion, and constructively at that.
Your criticism of my using the slash is amusing, though, because it translates to "end heartattack" and "end die."
No, it was in the context of command prompts.
And I answer: no.
Also this thread has zero point.
