Not going to happen 'cause a) that'd be a good way to get everyone to hate them and not play the game, and, b) they announced it on a day other than April 1st, so it would be cheating, you can't start your April Fool's joke before the day or carry them on after it. Well, you can, but it's Not Right!

I've been victim to worse April Fools jokes online. I had one on a forum I frequent whereby a few mods had quit over a mean populace and they were seeking new ones.
Staged a couple days earlier, the trolling commenced an hour or so ago, and I saw the funny side of it. The good news though was that they were sorta needing new staff and applications would be considered, so no harm done and amusement had overall.
I'm not fussed if 3Os pulls a Jagex and states the game is opening on Monday, since it means I can just do other things until then.

Yeah I was thinking about this earlier. At first I figured if they pulled this I would back out of them game in hopes that more people would do the same to get the person who thought it was a good idea in trouble. Then I realized that I would be being a little b*tch and that if this is an April fools joke I would just suck it up and wait till the 4th.
