Surely crafting from 2* or buying a 3* then crafting your way to 5* is cheaper than buying a 5* item...

The two 5* items I bought have annoying prerequisites i.e. Triglav requires 300 Krogmo coins just for the recipes that no one ever wants to sell and Crest of Almire requires Almirian Seals which are a bother to get.

Why people buy 5* equip
1) For the lulz.
2) For the uv's. (though buying a 3* item then working to 5* is probably cheaper.)
3) They have the real life money to afford them.
