First off; http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=c4f85e38ffecb15f911f6...
That goes to the 3D model. The description is there as well. At the moment, the uploaded version has purpple highlights, for "darkfang" but I'm changing them to red for "crimson order". Also has no textures, only solid colors. The bomb dropper hasn't been made yet, and as of now; the mech has no lower body. I don't wanna make it tall, so I'm giving it a round base with jets on it bomb dropper will be underneath in the middle. I have all the attack patterns listed on the link, but I havent determined things like phases yet. This boss is considered a gremlin, not a construct, becuase king tizinar is the only weak point, in the front.

I got the idea for this boss from watching a vanaduke video on youtube. I realized that the obvious strategy to beating vanaduke is to just kite him, so I made a boss that is the other way around. To be even more the other way around, I made it a gremlin; the opposite of zimbies, defense and weakness wise.

King tizinars mech (KTM, :P) can drop bombs and run, like a demo, has two variants of retrode lasers; that shoot in a line or a semi ring, can launch missiles into the sky like the roarmulus twins do, and between phases spits out knightbots from it's shoulders.
Sound's impossible right? Here are the flaws; KTM cannot turn his retrobeams enough to shoot behind himself, or right next to himself, so you can get up in his face and not worry about those, and the missiles aren't ever launched too close to him, so you can stay away from those easialy.

Onto the strenghts; KTM is shaped like a wall, so standing right in front of it allows the knightbot's to easialy surround you. Also, he can force you to back off and walk back into range by dropping bombs and stepping back, like a gremlin demo.
General stratagey; Kill off the knightbots he releases so you can begin to close in on him. Then rapidly attack the cockpit untill he set's a bomb and flees, causing you to have to close in again. You can set bombs behind him, so that when he rolls back, he will take more damage. If he takes allot of damage he shall open up the knightbot deployers on the sides; so you get to repeat the process.

Update; Added base for

Update; Added base for movement underneath the cockpit, Bomb dropper "should" be under there, but I didn't make it due to the fact that ingame it wouldn't be seen. Also changed highlight color to crimson due to the fact that this mech should be within that group. Consider this as a rough draft with no details or textures so far. Also, a suggestion; give all the gremlins in the gremlin boss stratum red eyes/highlights as opposed to purpple. Prehaps also make crimson knihtbots that share gremlin strengths and weaknesses.

Looked at the picture and

Looked at the picture and immediately decided no.

Variety, man, variety. What is with people wanting more of the same? Snarbo coat and now this?

We ALREADY have a construct boss, and this is clearly not a gremlin boss no matter how much you want to make it that type. It's obviously a machine. We already have the Roar Twins. They're not going to replace them. This is like if I asked "Hey why don't we have another T2 boss" and all I do is design a gigantic lichen. I mean aside from the fact that you don't want every single T2 to have a boss, a huge lichen boss would be incredibly redundant and is only the illusion of variety.

Nope.

Well what would you prefer,

Well what would you prefer, a construct with a slightly simmilar apperans to roar, or a giant gremlin with vanadukes moveset? This, at least strategicaly, is as new as possible.

Snarbolax; Stun it with bell, chop like crazy.
Royal jelly; Use vials, chop like crazy.
Roar twins; Get a button guy, chop like crazy.
Vannaduke; walking phase; shoot like crazy; mask phase; use water, chop like crazy.

It seems like every boss, all you have to do is expose a vunerable point and attack with meele, or you just run away and shoot it, and you keep the mobs down with bombs if you so please. Doging roar twins and snarbolax, all you do is step to the side a bit. Royal jelly, you don't really dodge, it just misses. Vanaduke, you just keep distance. I figured having a boss that tries to kite you from long range and let's his suppourt chase you with melee turned the tables. So what if it looks like a construct. That's no better then making an obese overpowered gremlin. That, and read the moveset please, if you didn't. I was looking for more critique on that, the model was just so /i didnt have to say ; "so he'll look kinda like.. but... and he'll have these things...." and all that good stuff.

Also, I was aiming for T3 with this concept, not T2. T2 already has 2 bosses.
