Ok I was just logged on about 2 hours ago. But now when I start up the game, in the logon screen it says "failed to connect to server" but I don't see any announcements in the forums or anyone else complaining about it. OBVIOUSLY, i have internet (nods at this post). Anyone know something?

There was an announcement in the game that something was happening. It said I would be moved to a new Peer in 20 minutes, so I believe they performed a server restart at some point.

Where is the server status page I can't find it just this post from a user. There is nothing under announcements either.
It would be nice to have a server status page with RSS. It would also be nice to have an announce only channel on a major IRC network for server status.

says the fail message whenever I try to re-login now...
it works for me when I installed the game instead of accessing it through the webpage.

I am having the same problem as others, but, the first time it happened I waited 10 mins and relogged in. Then I was able to access a dungeon and play the first tier. After I came back up and bought some things, I decided to try another run. I was kicked after I hit join party. Tens mins later I logged in again, and was able to play the first tier through. After coming up again, I was kicked trying to enter a different gate. I have logged in since then 3 times over 40 mins and been kicked from the game every time I've tried to enter a gate... I understand your looking at the problem but this is frustrating.

Well..
i'm not sure but sometimes so many players play SK which makes the servers full which makes some players that logged in at that hour unable to connect to the server.
Problem: Failed to connect to the server?
Answer: wait a few minutes then try logging in again. I'm pretty sure of that because it worked for me. If your computer/laptop/etc., is real fast, you can try clicking log in right away after it said that it failed to connect to the server.
I guess we're pretty much done here...

I've just gotten this error message "you've been disconnected from the server". At first my knights won't load and got stuck in the "heading into town" message. I understand that the servers may be full, but when I tried my alternate account, I got in just fine.

I usually get this no tthat often. The past 2 days have been horrible though. If you just let your comp sit for 5min at the desktop screen, you usually can get back on. I did this and was immediatly kicked when trying to bring up the 'haven loading screen'. it appears to happen to me mostly when a haven loading screen should come up. Instead i get dc and can't reconnect. Anyway, you also can try restarting your computer or resigning in to sk or steam.

more information on the matter.
this seems to be happening to me on kongregate, i first thought it was only kongregate but that seems to be wrong.
you see, when that happens, i can actually use a standalone using a spiral knights account to login, that works and ive added myself you see,
it shows, i am still online. but with that arrow thing (shows when you go down the elevator) and when you try to talk to it, it says
SwiftyKnight has been disconnected for 7 minutes or something down that line.
you wait 10-15 minutes to wait for your account to log out for in active you see.
this happens to me often when i attempt to join someone in haven, and other times in lockdown.
it goes into a black screen, waits for a while then shows the log out screen.
this has been happening a while now.
