Proposal: Spiral Knights webcomic

I want to start making a comic based on Spiral Knights for a small, fun project. It will be illustrated with both drawings and sprite images from the game itself. But... I want to make sure I have Three Rings' blessing first. For those who want to help me out with this, Please tell me what you can do, and I'll be happy to see if I can include you. If anyone is worried about anonymity, chat and names will not be shown.
As for premise, it's straightforward. The comic will follow the plot of the game, and the specific story of a group of particular Spiral Knights as they delve through the Clockworks and learn about the mysteries of Cradle.

My partner and I have set up
My partner and I have set up an email where we'll be able to centralize everything. It's helixhollowsk@gmail.com so email us there to discuss it further. Please send an example of your artwork in your first email. We're very excited to have someone interested in doing artwork is wonderful, we just want to make sure it's a style that we feel fits well with the tone of the Spiral Knights plot.
We really do want a blessing from Three Rings, if they don't want us to make this comic, then we'll respect those wishes. We still want to try to work on this a bit, and plan out what we can so when/if we do go on with it, we'll be ready to start.

And I LOOOVE designing character profiles, so if you need ideas, you can always shoot me a message. My IGN is the same as my forum display name. ^^
Oh, and I don't think this applies to anything, but I take lots of screenshots, so if you need any references that you can't find in the Wiki, there's a possibility I might have something. :D
Good luck with gettting Three Rings' blessing. You technically don't need it if you make it a fan comic (you just need to state who the copyright belongs to), but it'd be best to get their OK anyways. :)

Screenshot characters.
@Caika: If you want to be a screenshot character, you generally have to conform to the equipment guidelines we have set for each character type. The demanding part is that you have to develop it from the beginning. Say your character works toward the Valkyrie set in the story, which you already have. Well, you'll have to craft through every equipment upgrade the character goes through to get there.

screenshot characters? wut?
What the hey is a screenshot character? That's when you take a screenshot of the character and put it in the panel(s), right? I thought you were just going to illustrate characters with references for the armor and weapons. Being a screenshot character sounds like too much work. Sooo...never mind, then. -_-
I am interested in helping on the art front. Any way we can discuss the project further?
