Catalyzers too difficult to use

I really like the concept behind Catalyzer series and how much potential they have but the weaknesses far outweigh the strength.

The main strength of the Catalyzer series are the charged shots. Unfortunately, monsters react to them the like normal shots. As a result, it triggers the dodge mechanic of many monsters. This means the Neutralizer would be useless against the majority of monsters despite being a normal damage gun. The Biohazard also faces this problem with Gremlins despite being shadow damage gun. The charged shots are also blocked by shields instead of attaching to the target monster.

The damage and bullet speed are perfectly fine. It is the charged shot that needs adjusting. I don't think it would be too powerful if charged shots didn't trigger dodging because you would still need to hit the monster with a regular shot and regular shots would still trigger dodging. I don't think it is too much to also suggest having the charged shot attaching to shielding monsters.
