ok so i was wondering if i were to get the curse resistant trinket (5*) does that mean i wont get cursed or it just wont happen as often because the stupid fraust always curses me. i was wondering if there's anyways around it.

The charged attack isn't
The charged attack isn't worth it, it takes forever to charge and really it's not that great. And getting curse resistant trinkets is a waste, just for your Faust

Also like Bladestorm says the charge attack really isn't worth it. I use mine pretty often but because my friend rolls with the 5* graviton bomb. A charge attack into one of those has a good chance of cursing 75% of what's in it. When I'm not with someone that has a Grav bomb, I will only ever use the charge in key points of Jelly King maps.

dont listen to him his pullin ur leg curse is random it can curse 1-8slots (4 weapon 4 item) but the charge is very usefull since it has a much larger chance to curse then the regular attack if u plan on using the faust line always have remedy caps b4 u use the charge attack unless ur in T3 if u are in T3 dont use ur charge trust me its a bad idea but in T1 - T2 even if ur rem cap sare cursed it takes away 1-3 pips of health (but almost 10 in T3 with double shadow normal def) all in all the faust can be usefull for gremlins (if u need it for jellies you suck big time) but all in all i think the faust is a waist of like what 1200ce + the time of the runs for the sealed sword its pointless

Don't listen to me? I've used Gran Faust for almost 2 weeks straight now and cursed myself many of times at basil and in training hall just to play around. Never has any more then 2 of my weapon been cursed. Three of my item slots are yes, but never ever has more then 2 weapon slots. So listen to me or not, I know what I'm saying is true.
Heck if you want proof I can meet you in a training hall right now.

yea, GF only curses 2 weapons from what I've seen, and I've had mine for a loooong time. If you're going to use the charge attack, just make sure you have either remedies or at least a 3rd slot.
I think anti-curse items/UVs protect against the chance of curse, but don't do anything to stem the curse itself. You'll have a lower occurrence of curse happening, but it'll be full-strength when it does. Personally, unless you have UVs, I would never equip an anti-curse trinket. Most of those trinkets are worth nothing unless you're in FSC with anti-fire trinkets...which I'd rather try and get UVs for that anyway.

I am a Gran Faust user
The Gran Faust self-curse is not big of a deal. With no resistances the curse lasts for 45 seconds and curses two weapons and three vials. This isn't too bad as long as you have 3-4 weapon slots available or curse resistance. I have never used any curse resistant trinkets so I don't know if they work or not (although they should).
What tengutengu is saying above is not entirely correct. Having curse resistance doesn't necessarily lessen the chance of a curse afflicting you, at all, instead it weakens the curse's power. With a maximum curse resistance the curse lasts for 20-25 seconds (I forget exactly how long) and curses only one weapon and one vial. For curse resistance, Valkyrie, Deadshot and Divine armour have them, so you can get those if you enjoy using the Gran Faust. If you dislike how long it takes to charge it up, get an Elite Sword Focus Module. It takes some time to get, but it is well worth the trouble. I have yet to test out two Elite Sword Focus Modules with the Gran Faust, but at some point, I will.

ah, didn't know how it worked, only heard second-hand.
The main point is to not let it stop you from destroying flesh and fur with it. Just keep those curse vials if you want a sure shot. I've never run into a spot when I needed to use the curse charge, honestly. I'm either packing a gun, or also with a Divine Avenger, who's charge attack overshadows the GFs in raw, stupid, ugly power.

You don't have to, although it's better to have a curse resistance if you're actively using the Gran Faust. But it's not a necessity. I use Gran Faust quite frequently, and I don't use much curse resistant gear anymore. Before it got patched, no resistance would curse 3 weapons and all four vials. Now, only 2 weapons and 3 vials, which is much better.

Well I have a divine veil equipped and the faust curses 1 of my 4 weapons for 30 seconds
Not quite sure about the vials tho I think it might be 2
Best thing you can do is not use the charge attack unless you have 4 weapons. Only time Gran faust can curse you is when using the charge attack. When it does curse you it will only curse 2 weapons slots. So if you have 4 with swords in 3 and gun or bomb in the 4th you will always have a sword to use.
From what I understand the curse resist trinket does nothing, but that's only what I've been told, I can't 100% say if it's true.
