This is getting a bit ridiculous. I'm in full Vog with Barbarous Thorn Shield, Silent Nightblade, and Blazebrand, and even if I have 3 pills, poison, fire, and curse I still can't kill him.
The stupid 'auto aim' that is implemented in SK keeps screwing me up I think. I go in to hit JK but only get like one hit on him because I'm auto aiming on all the little jellies around him.
What's the secret guys?

Go to options and turn off
Go to options and turn off auto-aim. Problem solved.
Other then that, I feel as if the JK is now spawning more jellies than he did a month ago.

Pro tip: esc-control-drag it
Pro tip: esc-control-drag it to the bottom-unclick auto aim
Also, full vog only has elemental defense. And those jellies does a hip tons of piercing damage. See the problem there?
Also, curse vial only works wonder during its 2nd stage where he goes berserk. So save it for that, and use fire/poison first.

If you have multiple curse
If you have multiple curse vials, feel free to use one on the first stage, just remember that as soon as he berserk for the first time, he cleanses all status effects. Subsequent berserkings won't cleanse the King.

Oh thank god, I looked to see if auto aim was toggle-able but didn't see it, but I found it now, it was hiding the little bugger. haha I always thought it was just part of the mechanics, it was so annoying, thank you again. I'm sure that will help a lot. haha
And I didn't know when to use the curses, thanks for clearing that up as well.

I don't quite understand the
The issue between 4/5 star weapons vs 3 star. I vaguely remember that my 3 star weapon does slightly more, if not the same damage, than my 4 star due to T2 nerfing. If you're a visual learner, here's a swordsmen video.
you can disable auto-aim. its found in options -> controls..scroll down and you'll see it
when JK is spinning, make sure you charge your blazebrand, then attack him when he stops. use curse only after the first phase.
