In the game there are 3 types of weapons, guns, swords, and bombs. If there are three types of weapons WHY DO WE ONLY HAVE 2 SLOTS?! We should also get a proto bomb at the beginning of the game.
Permanent slot for bomb
I've always thought that it would be nice if new players got more of a formal introduction to bombs. If not a permanent slot, they should have a temporary one in the starting dungeon that crosses them over to haven, and some puzzles inside that need or could use bombs, and all players should start with a Proto Bomb as they do the Proto Sword and Proto Gun. It just makes sense to me.
The less you got the more you gotta wrack your mind for a nice combo. I personally like the 2 weapon slots, it gives me more stuff to think about.
It would be more convenient, but I'm guessing other players are gonna complain on the fact it would make the game too easy blah blah.
I have 2 really noob bombs in my inventory I never use because I prefer to stick to my gun and sword, although I do find myself in situations where I think: Damn, I really need a bomb for this...
Of course, I get through, but it'd been a hell lot simpler with a bomb in tow...
And I reckon the protobomb should be a starter weapon too. Its part of the Proto series, how could it NOT?
You can but extra slots... And they want you to spend that extra money. =|
