As seen above, I was wondering which is more effective during a Vanaduke run? I know Argent Peacemaker is preferred for the Vanaduke fight, but wouldn't the Hail Driver be more useful in sticky situations with him? Also is Shivermist preferred more than Hail?

It is better to get

It is better to get Shivermist if you have more weapon slots. Argent Peacemaker is also good for the mobs but it doesn't do as much as damage as Hail Driver to the mobs. If you already got Shivermist, it will be better to get Argent or Storm Driver or Polaris. Personally I prefer Polaris because of the incredible damage the expanded bullets creates. Note that people said that Argent is only useful for FSC so it is better to get Polaris or Storm Driver first for other places and get Argent after just for FSC.

I prefer the Polaris and

I prefer the Polaris and Blitz Needle to either, but if you had to pick between one or the other I'd suggest the peacemaker simply since it's more useful against vana himself and still useful enough throughout the majority of citadel. If you're carrying multiple guns you could drop the peacemaker for a blitz or magnus and run the hail with that if you wanted. I wouldn't suggest exclusively running hail though since alchemers aren't great against vana and the freeze effect will be redundant if anyone in the team has a shivermist.

My vote is for Polaris. It

My vote is for Polaris. It does a whopping amount of damage to undead and constructs, has a humongous range, and has a different status effect than freeze, which also happens to be a good DoT.

I feel a bit underwhelmed about my antigua guns. I'm not really a gunner, so having one as a holdout for sticky situations doesn't do too much. I actually used my Valiance all the time until I got the Polaris built. I'd only not use it in RT runs, due to Quicksilvers.
