Starter Pack Items are garbage and they need a buff...

As a satisfied customer of the starter pack, I would like to suggest a buff to the starter pack items. Even though I have much better items now, I would hope this will benefit future starter pack buyers.

I didn't use the bomb and shield for long as I quickly graduated from Tier 1, way too quickly even without using the CE from the starter pack itself. I would prefer it so that future Starter Pack buyers can at least find these items to be useful for a while...

The shield and bomb should be buffed a bit and be 2* so they are at least visible and useful in tier 2 for a while. And on OOO's part, it would significantly increase the impact of the items and may create a desire for the Starter Pack.

That, or allow costume shields, as I totally adore the Green Ward's look. :D

They at least need to be upgradable to 2*

I'll agree that the starter pack items could use some more development, but not necessarily a "buff".
I think making a 2* recipe that they can be upgraded to, to help reach Tier 2, would be reasonable.

I still think they should

I still think they should start at 2* rather than be upgradeable, since that doesn't save any crowns or CE...

And by "buff" I meant upgrade to 2* and 2* stats as opposed to 1* items with 2* stats. :D

EDIT/P.S. Also, let me repeat my suggestion for allowing costume shields...

Better without those.

What I think would be beneficial to everyone is that the 1 star items the starter pack and the party pack include would be taken from them since they are more or less "uniquely useless". Include rare unique helm and armor costumes instead.

Tier-2 is already easy to achieve so 2 star items within starter pack would make the respective run unbalanced and unequal to other players who have insufficient funds. Yet with costumes they would be useful to make you more recognized although they don't change your status in any way. No restrictions here to make them usable by everyone. Starter pack could include the choice to choose your favorite colour from the variety of five colours, green, red, yellow, blue and purple. Party pack could include the same choice of colours for each knight who is given a pack as a gift. These colours would still be influenced by your main colour to make them even more diverse.

Costume shields is also a very good suggestion, but I think I'd be more impressed to have just more diverse variety of shields and shield colours. Make the shields diverse in forms instead and not recognizable by colours. This in my opinion would make the game totally more diverse than with the solutions having colour as a main diversifying attribute with just a small form diversity.

Best of Day! O(^_^)O

The reason you don't see a

The reason you don't see a variety of shields is that you see the owlites every time. There's no reason to have a variety of shields in that regard. I would prefer to rock out to FSC with my Green Ward on top of that blasted owlite... :D

And I like your unique costume item suggestion, but the starter pack is exactly to help people start out, so gear would still be a better choice to me. It would be more saleable with a costume definitely, such as the Plasmatech items of the Battle Pack...

The costume should be put in place perhaps of the static bomb as not everyone will be using bombs. However everyone will be using shields anyway so...

If they went to 5*, I would

If they went to 5*, I would totally use mine if it added some other defense. I got mine and it had elemental med. /sigh

The GW did. If the flash got a 5* I'd say bye to my Nitronome.
