What is up with some useless items?

Please tell me if I'm wrong, but the Mad Bomber helmet seems useless. It has less stats and more resist reduction than the other 5 star helmets in the spiral demo tree.

What is the point of this helmet?

Maybe I don't know, but from what it looks like it just looks crazy. If I am wrong please correct me so I can know why it even exists.

Another one that I realized isn't actually useless is Leviathan Blade. It is NOT the same as the Cold Iron Vanquisher, it does more damage and doesn't have the undead bonus. The difference in attack damage is small, but it's there.

If anyone else has any questions about crazy items that make no sense, post them here as I probably am missing some that I already know of too.

For the Mad Bomber Mask,

For the Mad Bomber Mask, you're missing two vital characteristics: +4 Health Bonus, and the reduction in bomb charge time. I don't know if that's when first received or fully leveled, with the former meaning that both bonuses can go up.

So it's not useless if you're a bomb-heavy knight.

Before the wipe, bomber gear

Before the wipe, bomber gear changed its bonuses multiple times in the same week, and post wipe, even more changes occurred- but the big wiki contributors no longer have their recipe collections.

As a result, the wiki needs lots of people checking the posted info- feel free to correct anything you know is wrong. Likewise, consider updating bonuses/stats on any items you see while at a terminal.

bags getting full mad bomber ( i had it last time, twas great. + now i got a +med fire resist on the helm =D ) ill update it when i find it and make it. im at fused demo as heavy eludes me all the time.

Might be good to flag all

Might be good to flag all gear in the wiki as "unchecked" and then confirm stats of gear one by one? Currently the wiki is quite irreliable as it is impossible to tell whether information is up-to-date. (Yes, I'm volunteering.)
