Choosing An Alchemy Line for a Brandish and Wolver coat with strong UV's

Hey there, I've been sitting on a couple arsenal pieces that are quite pleasant to look at, because their UV's. The only problem is that I can't decide which alchemy path to follow.

The first item is a Brandish with ASI: Very High
I haven't touched any of the brandish lines at all yet, so I'm in unfamiliar territory. I would love to hear your thoughts on what would be a good path to follow.

The second item is a Wolver Coat with increased shock resistance: Maximum and increased poison resistance: low

Of course, I'm trying to deliberate on whether I should follow through to the Skolver or to the Vog Cub. Mind you, I will most likely craft the attack trinket that would compliment the set, such as: buffing speed/reducing charge time with the Skolver or buffing attack/reducing charge time with the Vog Cub. Therefore, I think it's a matter of which would benefit me most in the long run.

Any and all constructive ideas are welcome in this thread. :)

And if I may add a couple more questions regarding equipment and UV's:

I'm curious if a owlite shield with a UV of Increased elemental defense: High is beneficial or just kind of meh?

I'm interested in obtaining a Triglav at some point as well, I've been crafting several in the hopes to get a good UV and I was wondering which UV would be best? I've been pushing for a higher ASI, but that's just me.

I've been crafting some strikers as well in the hopes of getting a decent damage bonus vs slimes since I'll be turning it into a vile striker. Would that UV be beneficial during jelly runs or should I just forgo the hassle, make that vile striker, jump into the clockworks and stark massacring the jelly kingdom?

Thank you for taking the time to read!

On the subject of the Brandish line

I think you're pretty safe with most of the different lines for the ASI Brandish. Seeing as they only deal the status when you charge you don't have to worry about the UV being wasted with the Nightblade (it doesn't deal a status ailment). I have a Blizzbrand, Boltbrand, and Silent Nightblade; and any one of them would be great with the ASI.
So it really depends on what you want to save it for. Blizz/Bolt/Blaze are super great at decimating Undead and Construct (and could use the ASI to help kick Zombie butts). The Nightblade however, is good at beating Gremlins and Jellies (neither of which are very fast).

If it were me I'd upgrade it to one of the elementals (Blizz/Bolt/Blaze) because I think that the speed boost would be most optimally used there (beating Zombies, Retrodes, and Mecha Knights)

Brandish: They're all more or

Brandish: They're all more or less equal, pick your favorite status effect (or shadow, if you want to have a rare damage type). The only other option for a UV would really be CTR, but sword charge time is acceptable anyways. You've already got the best possible level of ASI, so I wouldn't waste it.

Wolver: Max shock resist? Go Vog. Shock deals elemental damage, so you're capitalizing on that resistance by making shock do even LESS damage. You'll also want to max your ASI for the Triglav you mentioned, though just the one Vog would max that brandish.

Owlite: Shield UVs are hard to measure. It's probably worth an extra hit from elemental enemies, though.

Triglav: ASI. ASI. ASI. Triglav's charge attack, unless they buff it, is worthless, and you can boost the base damage with trinkets, which is far better than single-family boosts. But as one of the slowest swords in the game, it needs ASI the most.
