Are Auction Houses linked together?

Anybody knows if the Auction Houses are linked together? or are they linked to a specific server or instance (different AH for each Haven, for example) Does this happens with the Spanish, French, etc servers?
When you look at one Auction house item, it could be from someone in a german haven, spanish haven or french haven. When you see one House your seeing all of em.
