it keeps a count of how many you put in I guess and then when you pass the amount needed it unlocks
I have no more achievement to unlock :/

did you have to put 10k minerals on the same gate at once, before it went live, on the same gate location (ie 1st open gate) "index" over many weeks, or did it just pop up one day over all the time you played (meaning you placed over 10k minerals) ?
