I think its a reference to the "Halo on a stick" from the angelic sets, and poking fun at it not being a real one! More of an inside joke, as I'm aware.
Still though, I love that style, and it is quite well done. Did you mouse-pixel it or do you have a tablet or something? :O

Inside joke
Yeah, it was more or less of (two) inside jokes. When the new armor sets were released in beta and 75% of the population were sporting the Angelic series in Emberlight, I expressed my disgust at the halo-on-a-stick. The second was when Kitty and I were in a full party and everyone but me had the Divine Veil XD So I whined about it.
Now that you guys know the inside jokes, it probably doesn't make it any funnier, but now you know. :3
And Shoebox, I thought you were too good for buses? What happened to your pimp your ride? Maybe we'll just pimp your crash pod or something.
