@omnija As much as most of

As much as most of you are saying - you can make enough to buy more energy and do runs again, your all missing the fact that your wasting your money on just doing the runs again. if you spend all your money on energy, how can you afford to buy equipment?

If you spend 60 energy to (effectively) generate enough crowns for 100 energy doing a run from 1-8, you're making a profit in energy. After two runs you spend 120 energy to get 200, and after 3 runs you spent a total of 180 energy for 300, for a total profit of 40 per run or 120. So after 3 runs, you've earned a profit for 2 more runs. Or, one more run and enough to craft one low level item. You could actually sell that 120 for crowns if you want.

And then the farther down you go, the more money you make, so the more energy you can afford in one go.

Materials

You're gaining materials when you spend the crowns gained each run, said materials are not free on the market generally, and can be used to pay for your gear.

Yeah, people really

Yeah, people really underestimate mat prices when they are doing these little calculations. The mats themselves go for just as much as all the money gained in the run, if not more, depending on the mat. For example, getting a few Swordstones/Monster Bones can easily net you more cash then the entire run costs to operate, even if you picked up absolutely 0 coins. And thats on tier 1, the higher you go, the more income you make per run.
