It's well documented that each craft has a small chance to produce 1 to 3 Unique Variants (UV). It's also clear you can keep a UV through Alchemy crafting by selecting the Transfer Variant option on the craft screen. However, I am unclear on this scenario:
Let's say all the random math rolled on the server and your next craft is lucky enough to get two UVs.
You're crafting an item with an existing single UV
Scenario 1: You've unchecked Transfer Variants and received 2 random UVs. Congrats!
Scenario 2: You've left Transfer Variants selected. ...
- Does this negate the 2 UVs roll and you keep the existing single UV?
- Do you keep the existing UV and obtain a second random UV?
if you transfer, the server basically takes whatever you had as your roll. You'll get nothing more and nothing less.
So nope, just the one.
