Like the title says, this is a thread for sharing your equipment loadout, either to show off or ask for suggestions and feedback from other players.

Here's my loadout. Equipment in parenthesis is what I intend to replace a piece with.

Weapons:
-Brandish (Sealed Sword > Faust)
-Khorovod
-Firotech Alchemer (Mk. II)

Armor:
-Spiral Scale Helm (Drake Scale Helm or Chroma Mask)
-Rock Jelly Mail
-Swiftstrike Buckler

Trinkets:
-Wetstone x2

Basically, it's sword-focused, using Rock Jelly Mail to counterbalance the Scale helm's weaknesses and two Wetstones to cancel out its deadly fire weakness. I'm not sure whether I want to upgrade to a Drake Scale Helm for more speed or a Chroma Mask for extra damage. I've heard that bonuses don't stack, though, so if the Scale Helm's doesn't stack with the Buckler's, I'll definitely get the Mask.

My current loadout, nothing special and with no future direction, is as follows. The non-weapon gear was given by friends. And awesome friends they are!

Fiery Vaporizer (Not sure what kind of bomb is the best, but I'm using this right now since I don't have a Firotech Alchemer)

Drake Scale Armor (I might try and make an armor with something to counter my weaknesses instead of this)
Sinister Skelly Shield with an increased piercing defense unique variant (I might switch this off for the Stone Tortoise Shield, not sure)

Quick Draw Module
Slash Module

I don't really use my sword. And my resistances are not top notch, I'll try and work on that.

I'm pretty sure the attack

I'm pretty sure the attack bonus from the Chroma Mask and Drake Scale Armor only apply to swords.

Crafted it all myself, except the Cryotech MkI. can't seem to find the recipie for that.

I am going to try a faster sword next, aiming to pick up the recipie for a vile striker (have the cutter, so Ill craft it up). The armor I am not so sure about, I like the +2 health, but if I am considering trying a spiral scale set, or one of the other big 4* sets (any suggestions, with reasoning would be awsome). I do love the shield though, I'm not awsome with active shielding so it having the +1 health is a big bonus.

I'm actually using firebreak

I'm actually using firebreak armor and shield with an emberbreak helm

There's five reasons for this:
1) I found the shield and helm for free as drops in dungeons
2) I got the fuel cell for the firebreak armor in a treasure box and haven't seen hide nor hair of the similar components for voltbreak/icebreak armors
3) They're the best things i've got in terms of overall power
4) Fire, stun, and poison are the only status effects i've really been hit with and fire is the worst by far so i'd like to avoid that, and
5) RED MAKES YOU GO FASTER

weapons: prismatech alchemer, blaster, brandish; i used troika for a while but i get the crap beat out of me by gremlins if i'm using it since it's so slow; if i hadn't sprung for the extra weapon slot i'd ditch the alchemer.

Lol I think sleep is the worst effect by far... especially when you are fighting strong monsters, you get put to sleep and... DEAD, but it isn't seen to often...

I was trying out a few

I was trying out a few loadouts recently, and I've discovered I'm perfectly happy with a big, heavy sword in one slot (Khorovod) and a faster, smaller sword in the other (Brandish). Then you're ready for most enemies and I didn't miss having a gun very much.

I'm trying to get all Rock Jelly Mail, myself.

I see no one is using spur, why's that? :p

Just got the Mk2 set so I'm using that.... also may actually get a Magnus to lv10 just for the lolz.

There's another Spur in the Spur folder, called the Winmillion.

I don't know if that's the actual in-game name or if it's even acquirable, but there's another skin there for a Spur.

Maxes out my Crystal bomb speed + Damage, I usually can hit 100+ each shard on smaller monsters and goblin magi, 40+ on Depth 20+ Melee goblins but leaves me with a heavy sword for knockback, firotech for ranged + fire status, and vile striker if I need it for poisoning goblins now that it works.
You've never really lived until you've one-shot three goblin magi with one crystal bomb.

Old threads, new equipment

It's been a while since this thread came out, and there have been a lot of changes to the game… so, I thought it would be interesting to see what equipment is popular nowadays, and in what combinations.

My current equipment set:

* Helm: Crown of the fallen (5*, good normal/shadow/fire/poison defense, and huge global damage bonus. It's popular for a reason.)
* Armor: Heavy Demo Suit (4*) (no plans to upgrade)
* Shield: Volcanic Plate Shield (5*)
* Sword: Dread Venom Striker (5* poisonous striker)
* Bomb: Ash of Agni (5*)

Weapon and trinket slots: None. Since I'm limited to 2 weapons, I usually stick with the sword and bomb. (There are times when I definitely miss having a gun)

Pros: Global damage bonus, a speed boost on my bomb, good defense across 3 damage types, and high resistance to the fire and stun statuses. Plus good poison defense.

Cons: None of these items provides the best pure defense of all options. The crippling weakness against curse will become an issue as new monsters are released, though for now I just avoid using a Faust. The weakness to sleep is sometimes inconvenient (though I can kill slimes from a distance), and I lack piercing defense.

Variations:
* For adventures with a party, I'm working on crafting a 4* toxic vaporizer- it should be a great support weapon, especially against groups of healers.
* The poison effect on the dread venom striker is unreliable, and it often kicks in right as an enemy is almost dead anyway- the hunting blade is a very good alternative.
* To counter my lack of piercing defense, I sometimes swap in a Mighty Defender shield and/or Sunset Stetson (with unique bonus shadow defense).
* When I need ranged damage, I swap out my bomb for a fiery pepperbox (gun that inflicts fire). If I had on extra weapon slot, I'd carry the ash of agni for fire, and my gun would be a strike needle (piercing damage) instead.

When I first read this thread I thought we had to show our ENTIRE inventory of gear. Good thing I read everything again.
