What do you think the most common damage type is in the game?
Besides normal damage.

Elemental has the most
Elemental has the most monsters.
Gremlins, constructs, and most monsters that inflicting status damage do elemental damage (I think).
Since jellies and beasts started dealing Piercing, the big question is; which type of damage is the larger problem?
Personally, I'm decked in Shadow and Elemental resistance because of the Fiends and the Status strata (monsters tend to deal Elemental when they're on fire). All other monsters, I can handle moderately fine.
