Any chance of Rockets and Spikes coming back to Blast Network?

I know plenty of people have other complaints but I've been wondering about this for a few days.

* Spike traps and Rocket Blocks in Blast Network maps will now inflict Stun damage only.

said that's what would happen to them but as far as I know they disappeared completely from the arena types. I know people would probably go like why would you want more things to kill you, but I thought those made it a little interesting. It helped change things up. You could get your blast up to 15 and then get destroyed by a rocket, not a player. I'm not saying put them in all matches, but unless I've seriously been missing something those maps never appeared again (with or without stun)

I think they temp. removed

I think they temp. removed them until they worked a way to make them stun. This is only a theory cause they have to program the spikes and rockets in PvP to do separate job from the original intention of spikes and rockets. So I think it takes some time to get it programmed. They would have to write a new code for spikes and a new code for rockets in order to set it up like that.

Only a theory though

Well the HP drops were pretty

Well the HP drops were pretty pointless, even if you got a few the rockets and spikes would still 1hko you. (I guess a good fix for that would have been to make the hp drops increase more hp at a time).

I wouldn't mind the rockets and spikes coming back once tweaked as they want, but it was a good decision to take them out for now. On the maps with rockets atleast that was basically the only thing killing people, and so frequently that alot of people would spend more of the game dead than alive. Mainly because the blast radius on the rockets is pretty huge, if they had no blast radius, and fired a bit less often it'd probably be a slightly more balanced game but as they were, it wasn't a good implimentation. I think the spikes could have stayed though.

I should probably have reread

I should probably have reread my post, I don't believe the spikes would 1hko people who got hp+, but the rockets sure would.

I miss them

I totally miss those maps. I thought those maps were the most fun but all the whiners out there complained "it made it too hard...." and so we alll get robbed of quality game cause skill-less players gotta nerf, take out, and alter every part of this game that is fun because its "too hard" for them.

It's dangerous to go alone!

I personally loved those maps too- it forced you to change strategy a bit with its unique element. That, and I was slightly better at dodging all the obstacles. I've survived rockets with additional hp drops- bombs would still 1HKO. I'd definitely vote either of those maps over the current regenerating crystal stage.

Yes, they'll return. It was

Yes, they'll return. It was a bit trickier than we thought to get them to stun only. Once we're ok with how it's working we'll add those levels again.

I'm only good at regular,

I'm only good at regular, average, bomb-spam maps. The blank plain map should occur more often, but rockets should be kept as an element.

Thanks for the update Nick.

Thanks for the update Nick. I'm not rushing its just I sorta missed the extra danger chance. Even if I ran into a lot of rockets, it was something different than get to 15 blast and corner people to death.. whether its me or someone else. The match kind of goes downhill for everyone else when that happens. Extra elements helps keep it fresh (though still not sure how much BN I will keep playing >.>)
