I have a tempered calibur right now, and I was wondering which path I should go with. Everyone says that Levi is better, but if I was going into FSC with the 2 weapon slots, would i want to take a CIV or Levi? Since there's a lot of undead, and it seems like I should take a DA. However, since Vana's mask is resistant to everything except normal, and I want to take a gun (for example AP) which one should i take? Thanks for the input!

I stopped bringing my Levi to
I stopped bringing my Levi to fsc and now use a glacius, barb thorn blade or divine avenger. I find that the brandish line outdamages Levi/civ quite handily and is amazing when paired with a vortex bomb.
I find that both glacius and barb thorn blade have no problems damaging the mask.

Eggboy, why are you saying? A combuster is TERRIBLE for FSC. I hate the brandish line, but a glacius would be better. And no, AP over Polaris. Have you even done FSC? just wondering.

That's the aftermath of a fight in which neither player had to move, (we literally hadn't stepped onto the spiked part the entire time) and it's incredibly common throughout the entire strata for the polaris to allow that to happen. The blast radius also means it completely ignores Vanaduke's flame shield, and it comes pretty close to AP in damage one him, assuming the AP player hits with every shot. The Polaris player doesn't have to aim to do that.
I've cleared down to Vanaduke with my pulsar alone on several occasions. Say what you like, but the AP doesn't come close when it comes to playing defensively - or when it comes to raw damage on zombies or gun puppies, as common as they are in FSC.
To Mistyx - if you can get your sword damage bonus to very high or higher (preferably with trinkets) leviathan will outdamage CIV on more or less anything; CIV's damage bonus is just a built-in UV that barely gets it over Lev for undead, so high enough sword damage boosts will make Lev just plain better. Of course, CIV looks better.
Also suggest Polaris as a gun for FSC, though any elemental or piercing can suffice. Pulsar lines are amazing when it comes to keeping yourself alive, though.

Yes i've done FSC up to Vana many times.
I use my Combust coz it has High CTR (Ultra lvl 10) and I use my Polaris for slag walker knockbacks.
I'm bringing along my FoV to heat it up, though. If I'm not equipping it I use my Barb Thorn Blade against Trojan Horses.

That room is really easy almost regardless of your gear. If you had only proto gear, it would probably still be pretty doable.

I do fine both solo/party FSC with just the Barb Thorn Blade and the Polaris; I don't even know why i bother filling my other two slots.

I have a kilowatt pulsar that I'm trying to find a gigawatt pulsar recepie for currently- I have an Avenger, a tempered calibur, and so I think I'm going with levi and trinkets. But which ones should i get? the sword focus module or the other one- cant remember what its called- for my levi?

The CTR one. If you are not using another trinket and don't have a CTR med uv, get another Ctr med trinket. You could get a damage but... Don't.

Even if you didn't have any UV on a Combuster it would still be a great weapon for FSC. And damage wise against 1-4 Slag Walkers, Combuster/Glacius/Voltedge arguably deal more damage than a DA. Of course, having a DA is slightly recommended for FSC because it has a great charge for clearing an area and keeping those zombies from getting their fiery paws on ya.
I'd say any of these weapons are decent for FSC:
The weapons stated first in a row are the ones I personally prefer in that section of weapons.
Glacius/Combuster/Voltedge
Divine Avenger
Leviathan Blade/Cold Iron Vanquisher
Final Flourish/Barbarous Thorn Blade?
Hail/Magma/Storm Driver
Argent Peacemaker
Polaris
Blitz Needle/Plague Needle
I might've forgot some as I wrote this in a hurry.
If you're only going to have 2 weapon slots, I would suggest the Divine Avenger and Argent Peacemaker (they're the most commonly used weapons for FSC for a reason, y'know). But if you had to choose between the Leviathan Blade and Cold Iron Vanquisher, I would suggest the Leviathan.

You need AP and DA if you are only gonna have 3 slots.
2 slots-DA and AP
3 slots- DA AP and for soloing Nitronome but for partying shivermist.
4 slots-(Preffered) DA, AP, again nitro or shiver and a leviathan or Polaris or storm driver. Just not CIV.
