Different ways to earn energy
IMHO I think there should be different ways to earn energy instead of spending real money, spending ALL your crowns or waiting 24 hours just to play a game for like 1 hour?
I just started playing today and used at least 300 CE and normal energy just to play 3 hours, now i have 15 crowns and no energy, I cant spend real money as times are tough and im sure the same goes for tons of other people.
So maybe add a mini game or a special dungeon that goes to T3 but doesn't require energy ( nerf the heat and drops a little) that way we are not just screwed if we don't have anything to sale ingame for crowns to buy CE or real life money. I enjoy the game A LOT but its terrible I can only play it a short amount of time a day,
Add suggestions for energy and reply Thanks.
That's a great idea! I hope the makers at least look at this thread :/
3 hours is a lot of time to play. One T1 run is more than enough to earn enough crowns to buy 100 CE, and then some, as long as you make sure to break stuff and pick up money.
Do that, and join a good guild that works together with crafting stuff, set up some spreadsheets so you don't needlessly waste energy, and voila, you're set.
Kingdom of Loathing had a method where the player received an allotment of energy each day, but then you could accumulate an additional amount of energy by using certain consumables or having items that reduced your energy consumption for certain tasks (such as an item that lets you craft once per day for free). There was a cap on how many consumables you could use each day, so a major component of the in-game market centered on selling this consumables to players who needed a huge boost in energy for the day to accomplish some major task.
The fact that CE can be purchased infinitely does put a pretty hard cap on any in-game CE consumable market, though.
Maybe an arena where you face off against endless waves of enemies and the first 10 waves earn you crowns with each wave progressively increasing the amount of crowns earned and difficulty, every wave after that earns you 20 energy?
