I have a strong feeling that multiple people have made about 10 different accounts, just to have a unfair advantage over the honest players.

I mean, some of the names of the winners are Hgregregss or Zyxjous, stuff that looks like someone was in a huge rush to make an account, so they just punched their keyboard. Kicking inactive players doesn't work; there are so many anti-idling programs out on the internet.

I don't really know what to recommend to this problem, other than just replace all your lottery days with power surge days, that way we all benefit.

power surge = people save up CE, earn more Cr, CE prices go up
Giveaway= CE given out , OOO WISHES that the CE goes back into the community to lower it down- Reality: people hoard it, CE prices continue to rise

No matter how hard I try, I simply cannot sustain my ce over 100. I get 100, then use it to upgrade my equipment. Then I use what I have left to go clockworking, which my cr never is sustained above 10K.

I have never reached 10 ever since I dropped back below it... I really need to win that lottery...I'll never get to T3 at this rate, let alone a full 3* set..

Honestly, don't worry about making a 3* set, it's not much stronger than 2*.

Either diversify and get more 2* equipment for special situations, or save up enough to make something 4* (and yes I realize that requires 3* first). Just make a good 4* weapon first before you worry about a 'a full 3* set'.

DAMMIT! I planned to level up my gear from scratch, so making others and selling or whatever. Man, this will take me FOREVER! I havent even gotten my Dusker COAT. Let alone levelling up my shield, from Bristling Buckler to Twisted Targe. Ksh!

Oh well. I can already solo the whole of a T2 stage, except for RJ himself. I can one-man-army his stages without dying already, so YAY ME!

I saw someone at the bottom right of the Arcade moving southeast at around 1:50, and when I asked him what he was doing he replied "stop bugging me" and changed havens. I think he was trying to stay logged in to have a chance at the lottery. There are probably a few more macroers than normal due to this lottery.

PLEASE NO. Ce would go up by .7k each week. We would be at 6.6k right now if that happened. I like the surges, but they need to be balanced out (err) by lotteries. Surge creates more crowns, lottery creates more CE.

The power surge made CE go up about .7k, and the lottery brought it down .2k. So over two weeks time, CE goes up by .5k. Just clearing up the fact that the lotteries don't balance it out with some sudo-proof. Not that I'm mad at three rings or anything, they certianly mean well.

Back to the point, making alt. accounts. I love it when I PM the winner "congratz" and I get a message saying "this user has been disconected for 5 minutes". CoughAltCough. How about just selling lottery tickets for money? There could be a couple ways to use that system.

How about cheap and challenging ways to attain CE at higher tiers? Contests of a sort, to help counter inflation, rather than leaving the increasing price of CE as it is.

Also, @Valk: Suck it up and move on. 'Nuff said. I just got me twisted targe, and moving close to completing a full set of 3* equipment, all through honest labor. And personally, I feel better because I'm doing it that way. Not enough cash? Hurry up and mass-alchemise stuff and sell them. Prices have been going down, but I can still make a killer profit selling 2* stuff to buy whatever 3* stuff I need. Tops? Maybe 3 days for a piece of equipment when I'm in a really slow mood.

And the alt accounts...it happens in every game. I'd say it's better to suck it up as it is and let things go, rather than try to implement the god-awful harsh measures seen in other games, ranging from the catastrophe that is "balanced" Runescape to other games that now ban trading. Just do the best not to feed those opportunities, and go from there.

Yeah, well I'm kinda working on moving on. Where to you say? I won't know, seeing as I'm still stuck in the same 2/3* gear ditch! Suck it up indeed...I first need to get my cash, then the ce, then the recipes I don't have. I have my plan in motion, the only thing that's putting a stick in my craw is the raw time it'll take.

Honest labour? ^_-, the only thing I got that I didn't make or buy myself was a Wolver cap, and that was offered by a friend who wanted to see me with a complete set. I was working on getting my own at the time anyway.
