Is a t2 run self sustaining? What about t1?
Would running it with 2 friends make a difference?
And is 1 or 2 Rez ok?
Would there still be leftover crown?
Someone plz help. I'm a noobie

Its basic math, and crowns are largely dependent on the type of levels you pass through on the run.
As a general rule, the 2nd half of a tier gives well over double the crowns of the first half. The most profitable types of levels are Arenas, Graveyards, and Boss stratum levels (except the boss level itself) due to high monster density. Rezing always costs you energy, so you have to weigh the costs yourself... if at all possible, its better to wait on someone else to split life with you instead.
When in parties, the game awards the same amount of crowns and heat to everyone in the party, so you neither gain nor lose anything by playing in a team.
The only way to be self sustaining is making more money per run then it costs to buy CE. Usually you can keep this up so long as prices stay below 7k since that tends to be the average take for a full run, and it costs 80-90 energy to power the elevators. You can also try to resell recipes from Basil for extra money if you can find one in high demand.
Arenas and Graveyards seem to give the most crowns by far. The Jelly Palace levels are also pretty good.
Multiple players only affect your profit in regards to materials and rare drop sharing, everything else is duplicated/equal. You don't lose any crowns directly by playing with others (just watch others pick up crowns/coins: you always get them, as do they)
Since the OP talks about T1, I'll add this obvious note: There are several kinds of levels where a significant percentage of your crowns will come from whacking bushes and grass, the wolver dens come to mind. I have found the large 50cr gold coins under plants quite a few times. They are also a good source of hearts and I often leave the bushwhacking until I need to heal up, then I go back to previous areas and clear them out, but I always clear all the plant before I step on a party button or go down.
I can't believe how many players will ignore bushes, even if they're standing on the elevator while I catch up... there will be multiple bushes just inches away that they refuse to chop down and collect on.
The little shrubs more often have coins or hearts than the big hedges, but they all have a chance at something dropping.
In terms of paying to Rez with energy, you need to give your teamates chance to revive you as much as possible. It is very much possible to go an entire run without ever needing to spend energy on a revive, especially for Tiers 1 and 2. Players just need to learn to be more a careful, and more patient waiting to be revived when they do die.
I see
Thanks for all the explanation people
Now I can't wait to run t2 with my buddies!!!
