I downloaded the game today and I was wondering if I can train anywhere else than the arena/party thing?
Somewhere where i can just kill monsters and collect items/money

Play solo.
Jadesperg, minerals are duplicated for all party members, so playing in a party gets you more of those (since you can get up to 4 per level instead of just one). However, materials are not duplicated, so if you need ingredients for alchemy, you're better off playing solo.
I find solo play better for training anyway (or duo with an experienced mate). It forces you to do your share of the damage, learn to dodge and shield, and it gives you a chance to observe monster attacks and movements without the chaos of 3 teammates affecting their behavior.

if you dont want to go it solo u kcould always ask some to join u ask hyperleon for if u need a trip ill guid ya but im prabobly most likey not on line most of the time lol

Didn't know about the mineral part myself, so that's pretty interesting, thanks! No more trying to ninja that huge crystal anymore...
Well if what you're looking for is an option to go solo, you can either start a new party and lock it off to others, or right click on your name at the top left (party list) while in a current party to go solo (creates a new instance with just you).
For new areas however, you could check out other gates in the arcade, though technically each time you go through a room, it's always randomised. Furthermore at each depth there is a possible rotation between rooms, giving you more variety.
Ultimately however, you stand to lose nothing from killing stuff in a party since all loot (except minerals, capsules and materials) are duplicated for each member in the party.
