Hm, I can't think of anything to say, so just shoot!
(Something about GUNS would be preferable, though).

FYI, I'm posting info about guns in the space below.
(some may be advanced/interesting, some may not.
Please don't complain about it.You can also ask and
suggest information to post.).

-Prismatech and Shadowtech Alchemers do slightly more
damage than the other Alchemer guns in exchange for
status.
-Sentenza is not considered a good choice because
it is only capable of doing extra damage to gremlins,
which are difficult to hit, and jellies aren't weak to it
because of pierce.

But I'm not sure if you're referring to a gun that you have or an idea for one.

edit: Volcanic Pepperbox is also an interesting choice. Its charge is good
for crowd control

I'd just like to say Volcanic Peoperbox isn't really good. At all.

It does less damage then the Plague Needle and how it is good for crowd control, Ash of Agni or Blitz Needle would be better.

The Blitz could kill most of the things in that crowd with a single charge attack.
The AoA would combo with a Blitz or any weapon since it's dealing the fire.

What poor excuse for a signature in the subject box?

I'd just like to say that the pepperbox line is amazing, and that its good for fighting through many levels, and is a good deal of fun at that.

Its harder to use than are other guns that let you 'kite', though the damage output on it is great- I have a pepperbox, and it deals 17 per hit, for 6 hits a shot. 102 damage per 'shot' if all hit, though you can fire it twice and quickly to deal twice that to a crowd. It doesn't have piercing, so its good against things that aren't devilites and wolvers, which make the blitz only good for vanaduke and trojans. The fire damage happens quite a good deal, and is nice for shooting and then backing off.

The charge attack, pulls enemys in close, and deals 27 each (keep in mind that this is at 3*), and hits 21 times, if all hit. My pepperbox has UV construct high, and deals 31 to construct. It can take out gun puppys in a single charge, if all hit, though sometimes 1 or 2 miss and it lives with low health.

(Numbers are during roarmulus runs)

What I was asking though, was about what you would think of a new gun- that was either like an antigua line, an alchemer, or a blaster even, that dealt half elemental and half shadow.

In other words: don't use guns for RJ.

Question: for those third stage arena rooms which throw dozens of bomb gremlins in your face how do you recommend clearing them? I've been thinking either callahan (one at a time) (doesn't work very well), DBB (try and keep them knocked down, only at 3* atm so not very effective) or GF (maybe a mender will get cursed, miracles happen..) (never had one on me in those rooms ==)

Any thoughts?

I think an umbra driver is ok vs. a horde of gremlins. Even if some of them dodge, something gets hit, and the bounces hit again. It deals around 90-100 damage to a gremlin at the end of t2, which I think is plenty enough with the double bounce.

GootiKustaa is right because if you can catch a Gremlin healer with
other enemies near it(with an Umbra Driver), the shots will ricochet off to hit them.

Blitz Needle at lvl 10 without any modifiers does 15 x 143 damage to Vanaduke per charge, that's 2145 damage.

I use a Biohazard against both gremlins and jellies, although going against gremlins requires abit more of an aggressive playstyle than you might be used to. You have to chase them down, keep them dodging, until they hit a corner, then pound on them. works well for menders, even in that last spawn of a stage 3 gremlin arena with all the bombers.

Mhmmmmmm.

My friends Blitz Needle does 3k Damage about with no UVs or boosts etc. It does about 2k if HALF of the bullets hit. Don't believe me? Try fir yourself.

I have a lvl10 blitz needle. Each shot does 143 damage. The charge shot fires 15 bullets. 143 * 15 = 2145. I am PRETTY SURE that damage only shows up per bullet and not cumulative, so your friend must have done some terrible math.

Also, *facepalm* at fail math. If only half the bullets hit, it would only do 1.5k damage, since all the bullets do equal damage.

Unless you have hard proof to back it up, I'm pretty sure a ton of other people agree with me.

I got a lv10 Blitz Needle with +dmg Medium and deal 144 x 15 charged against Vanaduke ... So first i don't beleve that you do 143 with nothing and then I also never beleve you deal 3k damage without any UV's or 2x DMG + Shadowsun ...

Dude I have one Question about the Callahan. I allways though it ist great, i used her sooo long now, but I trained myself in using the Blitz and i don't know anymore where i should use the Callahan. Devilites are the only reason why to hare em, but even the Pulsar deal good with em. I dunno, do you use Callahan?

Nothing else, and the numbers show that I do 143 x 15 to Vanaduke with each charge.

I use a Callahan when dealing with wolvers, greavers, and devilites. I only use a blitz needle for FSC.

You don't have any UV's on your Blitz? Cause it's impossible that I just deal 1 dmg more with my dmg bonus medium tinker o.O Or it doesnt affaect charge attacks O.O
Today i gained dmg bonus low against undead, lets c if its working on Vanaduke :o

I used to deal too with Callahan against Wolver, but with some micro you can prevent them from avoid your blitz needle attacks, also with one good charge i kill 3 of them instant while i would need much more time with the callahan.

Greavers are pretty awful with both of these weapons, cause they will block you from moving, Polaris maybe would be nice here.

Devilites ... alone -> Callahan / Team -> Blitz

Also, Vanaduke isn't undead, he's classified as Fiend.

I like the Callahan against Greavers because it's an automatic interrupt on their attack animation even in stratum 6 of T3.

Against Gremlins i tried

Against Gremlins i tried everything:
Sentenza ist just awful, cause its only worth against gremlins and not even good at all...
Nova Driver is just too small damage, it takes hours to kill em.
Supernova (didnt test) no gunslinger ever would take a normal type weapon. Same as Sentenza it would be just "useful" against gremlins. Even there, just moderate damage.
Biohazard is only good against the Fireguys of the gremlins or with charge in arena for masses of them to poison em and prevent heal. Medium weapon, requires a team.

So i went to other guns and i found these two that really rock against Gremlins!
Callahan allows you to stun lock (permanently let a gremlin fall back, unable to move or act) 1 or 2 gremlins. If you got ASI you can handle with lv10 gun even 4 of them, if you hit 2 with one bullet each. Rarely happens with Callahan.
Blitz Needle is way the best weapon against them. 2nd longest Range of all guns in the game, just behind the Biohazard (ya rly) with a charge attack that even oneshots an healer if you are 2 guys in party. Also destroyes the bubble really fast. Charge attack kills every Gremlin immediantely. Massive splash damage with 15 bullets where 5-10 are hitting between them -> 2 hits. Charge will stun lock gremlins.

Blitz Needle is so great against them, no Shadow weapon can handle this. ONLY CHARGE ATTACK!!

I'm pretty sure I have, and they were NOT by you. In fact, one of them was by Revolver, one by a guy who had Ferret in his name, and the third by me.

Also, regarding shadow guns vs gremlins, Sentenza is suboptimal because it doesn't do maximum damage against any monster. For a general purpose gun with lots of AoE damage, the Biohazard still works better. Also, the Biohazard can poison, which is extremely useful when dealing with large mobs of T3 Gremlins with Mender Assistants.

Killed Vanaduke without anyone in the party dying ONCE.

I'm just trying to look out for the people new to the game who browse the forum for information. If there's someone more qualified than me that wants to make a post for advice, I'll gladly step down, but for now, I don't want anyone getting any misinformation regarding guns from someone who hasn't explored the full depth of their function in the game yet. :)

I especially want to avoid "Argent Peacemaker is the right hand of God" discussions, because it's not. It's really, really not.
