Stop hating on combuster. The fire staus is just extra damage and with shock from electronext enimies are dying while you relax.
The Gravity Sword-Bomber : Optimized Destruction
Rezing this thread since it's a good thread.
Just a note, if I remember correctly, I think I recall that when a guy was firing polaris shots into my electron vortex, the enemies weren't flying away like they normally do. So.. Vortex Suction > Polaris Knockback.
I'll play around with it some more, but yeah, if that's true, it would make a polaris user less inconvenient in a party.
Yeah
BUT
don't spam the polaris when someone is placing down the vortex because that will make all the monsters go into the bomber or make the vortex miss.
Similarly make sure you time the shots to go off before the vortex ends, since the knocback will generally disperse the group afterward unless you get really lucky with shock knockback cancellation.
Speaking of guns, has anyone ever tried the charges of the alchemer line with vortex? In theorey they should be quite devsating due to the richochet, and could essentially be the gunner's equivilent to a Brandish line sword for exploiting vortex.
since the 3rd generation zombies, this bomb is perfectly fine for fsc(in solo or in situations where party members dont interfere)
ive been heating my 4* electron for the past few days and its been doing pretty well with glacius in fsc even with attack speed decrease gear(altho it feels way safer without that kinda gear)
this is my DPS evaluation for soloing fsc depth 24-27*(wherever zombies are present):
electron bomb(with heavy demo helm ctr low) + glacius(uv ctr high) > max gun dmg needle/nova
electron bomb(with heavy demo helm ctr low) + glacius(uv ctr high) > max ASI DA
electron bomb(with heavy demo helm ctr low) + glacius(uv ctr high) > max dmg bonus nitro/volt/DBB/RSS
i havent gunned on a vortex. it probably wouldnt be as useful as a brandish because the bullet wont fly to the center as easily but instead it would just kill off 1 layer of monsters. i think gunners best option would be the shock alchemer. correct me if im wrong
*unfortunately the boss is too annoying at 28, so ud have to freeze him if u wanted to vortex the zombies
Drop a gravity bomb and shoot towards it with bliz needle?
Electron Vortex is always better than Graviton. The bombs aren't used for their damage, so it comes down to no shock or shock. The answer is clear.
Personally I like Glacius more because freezing enemies makes it easier to position the Vortex. But thats just me. Voltedge will work fine. Just as a note too, if you get about 5/6 or more enemies in the Vortex then it generally won't fling them out even if they're unshocked. Because they seem to get stuck on each other.
