Anyone get the bug where thier shield breaks and it does not recharge for a few depths?

... it involves dying. Dying restores your shield back to normal, but normally this is an action you would like to avoid at all cost...
Bring a friend with you to revive you or something.
I have seen first hand today that its possible for someone not doing looping to get their shield broken. Invited someone to d27 of FSC to uh...save my party >.> but when they came their shield was perma-broken. All our shields still worked. And the person said they weren't looping prior to this but even so everything I've seen prior to this involved an entire party losing their shield, not just one.
The exact same thing happened to me. I actually had just logged into SK and they said they needed rescue, so I joined the party in the last room of D27. My shield was perma-broke. I submitted a ticket and the GM said it was likely a bug since only my shield was broken instead of the entire party. (Also /bugged it so devs could check it out.) She was not sure if the shield would be fixed when I went down to the Duke so I decided to just go up instead.
In this case, dying didn't restore my shield.
I have also encountered this bug, I don't think it's caused by looping cause it happened before people started doing that. Fortunately I've only had this bug once. Although the one time it happened I had joined a friend who was in an area I had passed through a few hours prior, so I guess it is possible looping could increase the chances of it happening somehow?
This is probably a feature to prevent people from saving CE on revive costs!
Scuttlebutt says it happens whenever a single instance (so, one level) has been open for more than an hour. So if people keep entering an advanced training hall instance, or loop the same level over and over, they eventually reach the point where shields stop working.
It happens if you loop levels. It also happens sometimes in the training hall.
